My Shelby went into the Montano location for front end damage. The work was garbage and they put a defective wheel and headlight on and blamed me and the dealer across the road Power Ford. Ford fixed the parts issue and CarCrafters reluctantly fixed their body work and paint problems. They do not care about the job they do. I should have used Quanz but my insurance company recommended these jackhats. Save your time and money and go to Maaco. You'll get the same quality for a tenth the price. This is the worst company in the state and if you don't believe it roll the dice yourself and find out.

No one WANTS to have severe hail damage and to have to make an insurance claim. But this was our situation and our insurance, Geico, is a partner with Car Crafters. They got Car Crafters to open up on a Sunday to deal with all of the hail claims and we were shocked at how smooth everything went!
We drove straight into the adjusting bay at our appointment time and one of the insurance guys from Geico met us as well as a representative from Car Crafters. They took our keys and got to work on checking out our vehicle while we made ourselves comfortable in the spacious lounge. They had coffee, soda, and juice for us. It was pretty nice actually.
We had substantial damage but they treated us really fairly. The guy from Car Crafters was not pushing and laid out what was covered and what was optional (aka out of pocket). Our insurance guy worked with him to make it super smooth. They even have Enterprise in house so we left our truck and got situated with our rental car so the work to repair the truck started right away! With no out of pocket thanks to our coverage! It was quick and we were super relieved!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 218156351Dec 13, 2019
Man. I hate it when I fall for a company's marketing. The slogan here is: "It never happened." They literally say they can get a car to look like it did before an accident and I have to say, it's just not true. Before I go into details of the product, I must boast about the customer service. They are very kind and do their best to accommodate you. They even have a rental company (Enterprise) on-site to make having been in a car crash less of a headache. I will absolutely give them that. But I am a car person and when someone tells me my car will be in the same shape, I want it in the same shape. First car I took in had to have the door replaced. I get it back and the door handle is broken and the paint on the inside is rough like sandpaper. I give it back and they replace the door handle and maybe buff out the paint a little - it's still rough to this day but after a month of not having my car... ugh. And the SECOND time I went there I got my hood replaced after major hail damage. The racing stripes didn't match (were properly fixed later) but ALL of the hardware on the hood weren't reattached. It made it through inspection with the lining of the hood in the back seat and the fluid squirters laying on the engine. There were literally four gaping holes left open, wires laying on the motor, and a huge piece of insulation in the back of the car. Uhm, attention to detail? Nope. Plus there was a gash on the front of the glove box I could not prove they did. The car was 6 months old and had maybe 4000 miles on it. Amazingly frustrating. I will not be back.

What a scummy place, they will try to scam you. Very disrespectful people. And takes a long time. Bruce is a d*ck and does not put the customers first and is very rude. Got my car back and it had 4 new lights on that weren't on before, and the bumper is loose.

My post is unfortunately too long to post on Yelp which is unfortunate! I will post my information on the FaceBook page.
Long story short, I had hail damage as many others did!
At first there were no issues, but then I started hearing different information and things were not matching or adding up. I have USAA and Joseph is the local representative at the Car Crafters on Carmony Road and he was one of the most difficult people I have had to deal with! I work in hotels so I deal with difficult people everyday but Joseph was something else! He would tell me different things on different days and his story did not add up. My car was delayed multiple times and it got to the point I refused to speak and work with Joseph. Sid the manager at this location was amazing and very helpful for me and made my experience better but not great, Joseph had ruined my experience to the point that I will never return to this location and my entire family feels the same after seeing and hearing how Joseph dealt with me as a customer.
Unfortunately this location did not make it right with me, Sid tried what he could but it was still just not enough. I just have a bad taste in my mouth from Joseph being so disrespectful, he would speak over me, he did not call me when I was told he would return my calls he did not apologize for anything that I was told and he blamed it on me saying I was confused or misunderstood.
This location needs to work on following up with the customers and returning calls! When they cracked my paint they did not call and tell me, I had to call them and that is when I found out. The more communication between Car Crafters and the customer the better, otherwise you get upset customers like me and many others that have posted about the same issue so clearly communication is an issue at this location!
I would not recommend this location to any customers that have USAA, go to a different location and deal with someone that does not crack under pressure and lose his temper.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Andrew M.Bernalillo, NM758Nov 30, 2018
This is the recommend repair place for USAA, and I highly recommend it. I worked with Sid who had phenomenal customer service, in person and over the phone. They did a perfect job repairing the side of my Toyota Camry. They have an Enterprise inside the building, and the rental I got was a little Subaru which worked great. If I ever need collision repair I'll be going here.

We took our car there for an estimate because we have always been highly satisfied when it was Hoffmantown. I had backed into an object, my fault, but was not going to file an insurance claim, bumper damage. They gave me a written estimate of $1950 with the disclaimer that it could be more due to hidden damage under the bumper. They said it could be up to $2500-$3500, they could not tell until they got the bumper off. I wanted a second opinion so I took it to another auto shop in Los Lunas. They showed me the damage and said it is unlikely there is any hidden damage because the plastic guards that were visible were not cracked and all the clamps were intact. Total cost: $650 because there was no hidden damage when they got the bumper off just as he pointed out. I strongly and highly recommend shopping around. We will not ever be returning to CarCrafters

This was one of only two options I found for having my car serviced on Geico's dime, which was disappointing because I always need a lot of options, but Hoffmantown didn't let me down.
I was able to drop my car off here, meet with a Geico representative, and then pick up my car from Enterprise in the same office space. That's a major plus.
My car's repairs seem to have been done well and the car was meticulously cleaned afterwards. No complaints there.
I did notice that they seem to have either taken or lost the dustmat on the driver's side, then replaced it with a cheap, beaten up replacement and covered it with a paper version so I wouldn't notice, so that's why I'm deducting a star.
Overall, the visit here was pretty painless, so that's all I ask. The dustmat pisses me off, but I should have noticed it immediately. I've called them and brought it to their attention, so after I visit, I'll update.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sherri S.Rio Rancho, NM108116549Jul 17, 2016
Ok so this place has a really nice lounge and they serve you fresh baked cookies and offer you a nice selection of beverages while you wait for your appointment. Everyone is super friendly. Brandy at the front is top notch, and did I mention she makes the best cookies? Well, she does!

There should be a negative five stars so that I can accurately rate the work done on my 2015 Tesla Model S. Bottom line, after Car Crafters had the car for almost 40 days, the car was returned to me. The car then had to be transported to Raintree Auto Body in Scottsdale Arizona
so that the work done by Car Crafters could be redone correctly. Recommend anyone who needs work done on their Tesla, that they take the car to Raintree Auto Body to get it
properly repaired. Do not understand how Tesla certified this shop to work on their cars.
PS. It was a Tesla Ranger that examined the car and then transported it to Rain Tree Auto Body.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
