The only positive thing I can say about this place is that it's conveniently located. I have brought our Hondas here for routine oil changes over the past year and have never had a warm experience. This service department lacks even basic customer service skills. Don't expect for anyone to be proactive and greet you. The majority of service reps here lack attentiveness and seem to have no desire to help customers. In fact, attempting to find a rep to help you is a process in and of itself as I have never been approached by anyone when I bring my car in for service. Today wasn't any different but did serve as a breaking point for me as I will not longer be bringing my vehicles here. When I brought my car in, I approached a seemingly available service rep at his desk. Instead of greeting me, he grabbed a piece of paper off his desk and walked away. As he walked away, he said "Someone should be with you. You can stand here and wait." So I stood and waited. Two service reps walked by me on separate occasions-not one acknowledged me or asked if I needed help. The original rep returned and ended up checking me in. After signing off on the services, I asked him if they were still accepting the $5 coupon for oil changes. He responded "I don't know. If you find a coupon online, you'll have to show 'him.'" I asked "show who?" He then aimlessly pointed towards a group of at least 2-3 service reps. To verify, I asked "So, I'm not checking out with you?" He simply replied "No."
Unless you enjoying searching for someone to help you and being treated like an inconvenience, I wouldn't recommend this service department to anyone.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Darryl F.Richmond, VA381Apr 12, 2024
My wife took her car there for the oil change, and they found out the light bulb was out in the back. And they said the wipers were a little worn. They wanted $400 to replace the light bulb and the wipers. My wife said we will do that ourselves. Just change the oil. after the oil change, to our surprise, we found out they put a Virginia State Police Rejection sticker on her car without telling us.
My wife called back later and they realized their mistake. They thought her inspection was expired, which it wasn't for another 5 months, so they replaced her lightbulb and gave her a new inspection for free.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sam B.Richmond, VA026Apr 18, 2024
This is a nice, low-key dealership. Rob Ramer is a sales veteran, but in a good way, and will not pressure you or use any kind of tricky tactics. The F&I guy--Phil Noel--was respectful and courteous and did not push aftermarket products on me. Highly recommended.

Just had one of my HRV 2023
For a oil change after I pick it up
I started to have a noise on shifting like a loud pounding I know this has nothing to do with the oils change and this morning I started the car the car was stuck trying to start over and over for like 5 minutes and could not shut it off and I think it has nothing to do with the. Oils change and to top it I check the oil this morning and there was only a quarter of oil
And the car starter to shift like there was a transmission problem and a the lights came on on the dash like on the picture

So I never have an issue here with being price gouged etc and making an appointment is easy. I will say the last couple of times I've seen my car sit outside for a while before going to the service desks to ask and told yes it's done etc. That's the reason for the 1 star dock. The waiting room is nice, there's a quiet side if you need to work and a normal waiting room with free coffee along with vending machines. They also have a shuttle but that seems slightly hit or miss.

If I could give zero stars I would. Brought my car in for maintenance, oil change. They tried to tell me I needed brake fluid exchange, done on last service 9 months ago, and transmission fluid exchange, done a year and a half ago (needs to be done every 3 years). Three days later every warning light came on in my car but car was running just fine. I took it to a mechanic for a diagnostic and they told me there was nothing showing up and to take it back to the dealership to have it reset. I explained everything to the Honda service department about what happened and they insisted they needed to do their own diagnostic. $182 and 3.5 hours later I was told it was fine but rear brakes needed to be replaced. They were fine a week previously when I had my car in for the oil change. Also stated valves were leaking and keep in mind the car needs a major tune up very soon at 110K miles. My car is 7 years old and has 71K miles so 110K miles isn't around the corner. They are a total rip off charging $182 to reset the warning lights that just happened to go off 3 days after having my car in for service. I won't even get into how rude everyone in the service department is. ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR THERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!

Worst experience ever!!
So far they changed my appointment time without my knowledge from aug 24th 7:30am to august 29th 8:30am
Not to mention my car has been sitting there almost 1 month. After calling numerous times for an update on my vehicle I was either placed on hold or transferred to a voicemail.
Now that they starting working on my vehicle they told me my fuel injectors needed to be replaced, after doing that now my car is Mis-firing and running in a horrible condition which was not an issue before. I'm extremely frustrated between customer service and the service department... now they are saying they might have to keep my car another few days to figure out this new issue
take your money else where!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Claudia G.Lincolnia, VA041Oct 9, 2023

The service department is the absolute worst! They lied, obfuscated and held my car hostage for more than 2 months for a repair that should have taken no more than 2 weeks. Avoid them at ALL costs.

Leased an odyssey here 6 years ago and had an ok experience.
Came back 3 years ago and had a bad experience trying to lease another new car, so we leased elsewhere.
Came back today in 2021 to lease a pilot. Nice test drive, but ultimately a waste of time because we learned from the sales rep that West Broad Honda doesn't honor leasing prices as advertised on tv.
Lesson learned. We'll never give them another oppty.
This place has triggered my spidey senses twice now for a scammer alert. I'm being generous with a 2-star review -- although my gut tells me it really should be a 1-star review to steer fellow yelpers away.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Natalie S.Clemson, SC2414124Jun 9, 2022
Run, don't walk away. From start to finish it's been nothing but negative experiences. I was so excited to buy my first car and the salesman was definition sleaze. He tried to corner me into a color I didn't want, when online inventory showed they had the color I was asking for. Was less than helpful throughout the car buying process. I wrote a review documenting each incident, never heard back from the dealer.
Take my car in for a check up, get home after hearing it's in great condition and the battery dies. Suspicious.
Go in for an oil change and I'm told I need extra work done. I take the car to a different Honda shop and they let me know it's in great condition and none of the work needs to be done.
This dealership is a scam.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
