I meant to write a review right after we bought our car last summer.
This is review is for Joe Miller who sold us the car.
He gave us a lot of time time to look around and did not pressure us at all. Joe made the whole process of buying a car very pleasant and non- stressful. Since we bought a used car, its manual was missing and he told us that he would send it to us if finds it. He sent it to us with the spare key later.

Just spent an hour waiting to get my battery tested on a warranty they have no record of it lol so now I'm stuck purchasing a new one but I was given a 10% discount but I'm not happy when you purchase something with a warranty you expect it to be honored I never had a problem with this dealership before but the guy I usually worked with is no longer here good help is hard to come by
Then after going ahead and purchasing a new battery from them another 30 minutes they give me the keys and I go looking for my Jeep I can't find it I go back they tell me it's down the street there's no parking and yet there is, only to ask a second time where is my Jeep they come out and show me a block and a half down the street in front of a big truck that you could not see it

Without ever being a customer at this shop I had two serious problems I could not figure out with my Chrysler 300 I contacted Paul the service technician and both times he help me to fix the problem. whenever I need service I'll make sure I go here .

I really wish I didn't have to rate one star since the customer service was under one star. It was myself , another mother and 5 kids in the van. We had to get chains to go to McCloud on Sat. Myself and the other mom not knowing to much about how to take the chains off and pulled over to SJ Denham to get help.
Paul and the another employee were far from a help. Which is a total heart drop since Mt Shasta is such a beautiful small town community and always helpful. I've never experienced this in Mt Shasta, McCloud etc. Everyone is willing to help each other. Not Paul. Paul seemed very rude, annoyed, unhelpful, and overall shitty! I would have tipped him if he was polite and helped me in getting my chains off. I need to keep in mind that Paul doesn't represent Mt Shasta. The women Kim that is the receptionist here needs to b employee of the year n definitely deseves a raise for her above and beyond customer service skills. Our car broke down the Friday night after Thanksgiving on our way home from Oregon headed to Sacramento. We have a 3 year old crazy toddler n were stuck indoors in our hotel room in Weed Ca for 3 days due to several factors - the holiday, snow blizzard, n NO where to rent a car. I called and spoke to Kim 1 min after they opened hoping they would b able to fix our car n possibly rent us one for the day so we could have a warm dry play for our toddler n a way to find somewhere he could burn off way to much energy. Apparently they r the only place that will rent u from Redding to Weed. Unfortunately they were way to busy to b able to work on our car today n after hearing that i must of misunderstood stood her or didnt hear her at all when she said that they only have 2 cars n they r both unavailable today. So after dropping our car off at Bjers which is awesome, we had the tow truck driver drop all 3 of us including a huge car seat at their front door. Imagine both Kims and my suprise when she said that she told me the only 2 cars they have where already gone. Ugh!!!!!! Now we r 4 blocks away from our Mechanic's shop with a cranky toddler huge car seat a few back packs in several feet of snow n slightly raining. This women is so awesome she said that she had to go to the bank anyways n would give us n all our crap, a ride back. Yeah Kim!!! Then she went above n beyond even further n took us to drop off our car seat at our car then to a pizza /arcade place which of course was closed for the week . So she then when back up and around a few blocks n took us to a warm kid friendly coffee shop.
I cant say anything about the shop or the abilities of the Mechanics but if they r half as good at their jobs as Kim is at hers, this place is Awesome. We live down around by the bay area n there is no way in hell anyone at any business ur not even using is going to guve 2 complete strangers, n the loud crazy toddler that is following them around n leaving havoc in his wake, a ride anywhere!!!Especially not in their own personal car.
Mr Sj Denham i hope u personally read these reviews cuz u should seriously give her a raise n promotion to b the head of customer service, training all of ur employees how to b outstanding at what u do. This is the first face people need to see when they walk in.

I purchased a Toyota 4 Runner from this dealership in Mount Shasta a few years back. When I purchased my vehicle I was told by the salesman and also assured via paperwork and a car history print out (not car fax) that the car had never been in an accident. I recently went to sell my car to purchase a newer one and was informed by another dealership that my car had been in a MAJOR ACCIDENT prior to me purchasing the car and was supplied with a car fax report that confirms this information. My husband and I went to the dealership and the same salesman that sold me the car informed me that "this was over his pay scale" and that sj denham "no longer uses carfax because it is too expensive". He stated that they use a car history check that is CHEAP and it didn't show an accident. The owner Ryan Denham contacted us via phone later that day and informed us that they had not done anything illegal by selling us a car that had been in a major accident because "their report" didn't show an accident. He hung up on my husband and I called back in tears and he was unwilling to do anything to correct the problem or make things right. He just kept repeating that "their report" didn't show an accident. I asked him how he would feel if a dealership had lied to him and had sold him a crashed vehicle and he had no response.. just kept repeating that "they didn't do anything illegal and their report didn't show an accident". They are terrible!! To top things off I found out from my aunt that the vehicle she bought from them two years after we purchased ours had a car fax report! They lied to my husband and I and are unwilling to make it right!! NEVER purchase a vehicle from them! I told Mr. Denham that I purchased local and live in this community and he did not care and told me to "do what I had to do" when I told him I would tell people in the community what they had done. Please pread the word that they are shady and untrustworthy and have horrible customer service!

Long story short, I lost the keys to a rental car keys (I was 500+ miles away from home) on a Friday evening but they were able to get me a replacement key very next day so I could get my family home and continue my vacation.
A million thanks to Charlie in parts and Mike in the service department. Had a short conversation with the owner Ryan who demonstrated true professionalism and service with a smile. You saved my you know what!!

Driving up the 5, we had a huge problem with a serpentine belt going through a non-working AC and the alternator...i mean, it snapped because of the AC compressor and our car died. I thought we were screwed and that we'd have to take a bus to Ashland or Weed and catch a train home to Portland.
However, my dad looked up this dealer and told us to take it the service department because maybe they'd get us back on the road for less than the car was worth and all would be well. And that's what happened. Even though they only had one mechanic working (billy, i think was his name?) they looked at my van, diagnosed the problem, re-routed a new belt to only go through the alternator, and had me back on the freeway before lunch and for like 1/10th of what I thought this would cost me. It was thee best possible scenario. Everyone was nice to me, nobody even tried to rip me off or sugar coat anything - it was just perfect service and it got me home that day!

Wonderful folks! However, it's not a "full service" dealership. A surprising amount of the maintenance work must be done at their main dealership in Redding. They're willing to drive your car to/from Redding for you but it's still a lot of mileage on your car just to get simple repairs done. Restroom facilities are gross. However, wonderful folks!
