Huge thank you to Tom the GM and Sales person Hailey. We stopped in on a busy Sunday afternoon to complete a new vehicle purchase. I searched several Subaru dealers and learned that this was one of the few locations that had the vehicle I was looking for in stock.
I was very pleased at the teams responsiveness and professional attitude. The professionalism and attention to detail was apparent when I called to check the inventory. Later, my thoughts were confirmed upon arrival, at the dealership I found that the staff had the car I inquired about parked out front anticipating my arrival.
I was thankful for a smooth transaction. Hailey and Tom explained the details of the purchase carefully and confirmed my confidence in purchasing another Subaru. I was pleased with the APR and warranty. I would highly recommend this location.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I'm not in the habit of leaving reviews because, truth be told, depending on the day,
time & place, each review can be entirely different.
In addition, a review can be subjective, (based on my personal observation) or
objective, (not based on a personal viewpoint)
So, when leaving a review about a car dealership, you can probably see where
it can get confusing.
Let's just say that you are interested in a particular brand and model of a car. You've
been mildly to moderately interested for a few months, without making any phone calls.
You're thinking about a dealership that sells many, many vehicles. Their website
advertises the lowest prices for Subarus, and although you don't know much more
than that about them, you make the phone call, someone answers and is exceeding polite
in the conversation. This person's non-aggressive demeanor, along with his ability to
cheerfully answer every possible question that you ask, while never seeming to offer
any more than that, surprises you.
That's the way that it started when I first spoke by phone with Michael Nocera, at
Quirk Works Subaru in Braintree. Over the course of a week, Michael and I continued to
speak by phone, there were many more questions, some repeated, with my
never visiting the dealership! There were moments when I thought that I must have
been trying Michael's patience, yet there was never any indication of it.
If you go online and read the newest automotive reviews for Subaru, whether you've ever
owned one or not, you have to be impressed in a positive way.
Needless to say, not only am I now driving a new 2023 Outback Premium, it's entirely due
to Michael Nocera. I cannot describe in this review just how easy that he made it happen.
I had to laugh when he said that I was one of the hardest sales that he ever made,
because it sure didn't feel that way.
By the way, at age 20, Michael Nocera is on his way to becoming one of the highest producers
in sales volume, of Subarus, in the United States. Don't take my word for it. Quirk Works Subaru
is easily the largest producer on the east coast and in the top five, across the country.
When you decide to make your own phone call, you'll not only be pleased to meet Michael Nocera. You'll may eventually also feel proud to be driving such a respected brand.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Mike from the service department is FANTASTIC. Usually there is a stigma about car dealerships ripping you off and trying to sell you unnecessary things but that is not the case when working with Mike. He is honest and the reason I will only bring my car to this specific dealership. Service was always fast and done correctly the first time.

This service dept is an absolute joke. Stopped going to them after 2 separate issues with simple oil changes. Had to resort to calling them again with an electrical issue and the basically belittled me and told me my car was a waste of money and I should have expected it to be like this...cool thanks bud.
I can only imagine how many people get taken advantage of by this place under the guise of they can trust the dealerships service dept.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Brenda D.MA, MA04Jul 28, 2023
Just purchased a 2023 Zolterra, my first Subaru, and first all electric car. Quirk was more than happy to sell the car to me, but I was not educated on important things like......how difficult it can be to find a charging station.....I was towed twice during a much needed vacation. Yes, you can charge at Tesla, but you need to buy an adapter. When I turn on the AC, I lose 40 miles off my range...so choose between mileage range and comfort. When I went back to them to complain, they verbalized that it is not up to them to educate a driver on "bad things." As far as the car goes, I love it.....now that I understand how it works. I will not purchase another car from Quirk....After the sale, they are done with you.

Hi Brenda, We appreciate your feedback and understand that transitioning to an electric vehicle can come with unexpected challenges. Researching vehicles before purchasing is crucial, as it allows you to make an informed decision and prepares you for the unique aspects of owning an electric car. Finding charging stations and planning your trips accordingly is essential to avoid inconveniences during your travels. As you have experienced, using the AC can impact your range, so balancing comfort with mileage is essential. While we regret the dissatisfaction you had with your experience at Quirk, we believe in supporting our customers throughout their ownership journey. We encourage you to continue exploring the electric vehicle community to enhance your understanding and enjoyment of your Zolterra. Should you have any questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. Thank you.

Great Sales Team but TERRIBLE car service department!
Bought 2019 Subaru Forester @Quirk with a great sales team but "Horrific service in their service department".
Long story short: In early August I came in for a car inspection sticker and it failed due to one of the ODB port connector pin loose. The service person Robert was very "adamant" that I should bring my car to my local Subaru dealer to fix the problem. I told him Quirk has the inspection machine and it's easier for them to fix it then go to my local Subaru dealer and also I bought the car here at Quirk!!! After an extended discussion eventually I was able to set up an appointment next week. (Not sure why they don't want the service business especially the car was bought at Quirk!). It's like they want to turn the service business away!!!
Brought the car back next week, and after a few hours waiting, then they told me the car could be in the shop for a day or more days. And they kept telling me I "should bring" to my local Subaru Dealer!!! It's like they don't want the "service business" at all. Eventually the Service Manager "Lou" came and talked the same "terrible" way that I should go to my local Subaru dealer to fix it (which I explained to them my local Subaru doesn't have the inspection machine)!. They were pretty nasty and my wife was there as a witness to this!!! I felt like we were mistreated as a Quirk customer especially we bought the car at Quirk!!!
So I took the car out and went back to my local Subaru dealer ... first thing the service advisor immediately recognize the problem by looking at the inspection report. He then told me it's not a big deal and it could be covered under the "Emission Warranty" and then most important, they would provide me with a "loaner car". When I brought my car in the following week at 11 AM, the service advisor and the people were totally pleasant to work with. Within a day I got a call at 8:30 AM that it was fixed !!!
Comparing the two Subaru dealer car service, I am not sure why Quirk Subaru can be so mean and nasty!!! I hope the Quirk management team can investigate into their car service department attitude to their customers as I love their Sales Team but NOT their Service Team!!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Brad W.Mansfield, MA0101Jul 10, 2022

On June 18th I went to Quirk Subaru and inquired about a New Base Subaru Outback. They said there was one coming in. It was available for purchase for 28,320.00. This is the MSRP.
He asked about my trade. At which point I said. I am not trading in a vehicle.
The sales manager Mark Dioguardi told me, Because I didn't have a trade. I would have to pay two thousand additional dollars for the vehicle over MSRP. I was not happy with this. I got it lowered to five hundred over MSRP after discussing the purchase. Still this was a issue.
I signed a Purchase and Sales agreement anyways. Agreeing to the over charge.
On June 19th I texted Mark. I told him I would continue to honor the purchase but I could not give a perfect review of the sale. I told him to take the extra five hundred dollars above MSRP off and I would give him a perfect review. He described his review as the most important part of the sale.
I did explain that Subaru was frowning upon Dealerships selling the cars over MSRP during this period of time. He didn't care. His reply was that because I wouldn't give him a perfect review .
He was canceling my purchase.
Having a purchase and sales agreement signed by all parties. I thought of pursuing this . I chose not to. I am disappointed in this dealership. I already own a Subaru Outback. I am now thinking of a different auto. This experience left a bad taste in my desire to purchase another Subaru.
Why is Subaru Corporation allowing dealerships to diminish their products value at the consumer level. I was more than willing to discuss this with Corporate offices.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Amanda R.Boston, MA1515Jun 7, 2022
Went there to try and see why the "check engine" light was on, was told the car had an infestation and turned me away. All after explaining to me (someone who doesn't know a thing about engines.) how I can deal with this engine issue without their help since: "We don't even want your car here". Thanks assuming they were a decent establishment that was close by, all this ended up making the issue worse and more expensive. Don't go here unless you bought your car FROM them, because they won't do sh*t for you.

I've been Quirk Works for years and have always worked with Robby, he is the man. If you're looking to walk into a dealership and just want someone who will be honest and courteous, look no further. He takes the time to keep you updated on the status of your car throughout the entire process, explains all of your options and what needs to be done so that anyone can understand, and has a great attitude. I'm sure there's other great people here but if you want the best, ask for Robby!

I would not suggest coming here, especially if you are a woman. I came here with my Mom having done a lot of research on Crosstreks and leasing a car. Tim claimed he was giving me a deal but couldn't point out exactly what the deal was besides taking my car as a trade in. Trading in a car is definitely not a deal as this is pretty standard.
When I looked at his offer and broke down the math on my own, I realized I'd in the long term pay 6,000 over sticker price. He seemed angry that I actually knew this, went to the back to grab his manager, who was EXTREMELY rude and obnoxious. Didn't even ask us our names, kept telling us how great of a dealership they are, and that we don't understand the breakdown of the price.
My mom and I felt really disrespected and disappointed when we left.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Thank you for reaching out. Upon further research, it was confirmed that we were discounting the vehicle $3,500 dollars and giving you $2,500 for your trade which is a total of $6,000 off MSRP. By no means were we any where near $6,000 over MSRP. You were in fact $3,000 under MSRP after all taxes, fees, and interest. What we were trying to explain is that there is interest in a lease as well as a rent charge, so when you multiply the payment times the term plus the buy out figure it will always amount to over the agreed upon value as this isn't a 0 percent loan, and tax and fees are above and beyond the selling price of the vehicle. For example if you are buying a vehicle for $26,000 and you put 0 down and finance it at 3.99 percent for 60 months your payment would be $520 including tax and fees and interest if you multiply that by 60 months that equals $31,225.20 which is $5,225 more than the agreed upon value. That is all we were trying to explain, by no means were we looking to disrespect or disappoint you we were just trying to show you why the figures came out higher than the agreed upon value.
