Pope-Davis Tire & Automotive

We were in a jam and this location came through BIG time. They assisted us not once but twice. When they couldn't finish the project they referred us to their Irmo location for nitrogen for our tires.

They had an opportunity to take us over the coals, but chose to serve others and do good to others. I would drive cross country to give them my business because of their attitude and service.

F-450 with 5th Wheel, valve stem leak.

Had breaks done and they are squeaking horribly. Took over three hours when I was told it would be one and half hours. Would be fine if they would just let people know. Breaks squeak worse now than before! Have to take to dealership

I had repair work done on my vehicle a couple of times and the service was good. However, the last time which was about 6 mo ago I had called and made an appointment to check a mouse my vehicle was making. I took my car at 9:00 a.m. with the understanding that I would be called before any repairs were made. About 2:00 p.m. I had not heard from anybody so I called and person answering the phone said to hold on while he talked to the mechanic; I held on for 20 min and never heard from anyone. Finally I called back about 4:00 and asked if my car was ready and they said "no" so I told them I would just come get it. I got there about 4:30 and my vehicle was still sitting where I had left it at 9:00. I told them I would never come back there again.

I priced around to many tire shops in my area. I needed four tires and a wheel alignment. Pope Davis seem to have the most reasonable prices and name brand tires in stock. Priced out what four tires were going to be online and the website came up with the price with everything with price out the door which is a nice feature. Called up to make a appointment told them what tire I wanted they had a different price over the phone explain to them that the price I got online on their website and they adjusted the price very pleased with the tires and customer service that we experienced.

Tried calling them several times but just get a voice mail. Was hoping to get car serviced.

I don't recommend this auto repair shop. A two day job took two weeks. Car sat in lot for seven days. Found out afterwards (from different shop) that the work was not completed properly.

Wow is all I can say! This place is beautiful, looks like something in the mountains!!
In my home town all of the mechanic shops are very old, run down, and just dirty so I was very pleased to see how clean this place was(with free coffee). The manager over there, David, was absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable about any car care! He was able to answer every single question that I had about my car.
I took my car to the dealership first and they quoted me around $1,965.00 worth of work that needed to be done so I decided to get a second opinion....I'm so glad I did! Half of the "problems" that the dealership found were nonexistent! Pope Davis fixed my car for under $400 and I was expecting a $1000 bill when they were done! I recommend this beautiful, honest shop to EVERYONE!! Everyone was extremely nice and the mechanic even came out to say hello! I will definitely be back!!!

I had a bad battery that needed to be replaced ASAP. Due to the fact that it was under the seat, no auto parts store would install it, so we made a drive over here and we were out in 30 minutes with a new battery and at a cheaper price! Quick and great service!!

We have 3 vehicles and they all come here for repairs and stuff! They go above and beyond to make sure they keep us running! Dave is the best!
