Landscaping by Vincent

Happy again with Vincent and his work. He took our design and was able to get everything done in short period of time. They really come in and get the work done. For us Vincent is easy to work with, returns calls when contacted and his wife is always very nice when you call. We had a new build, so Vincent was working around a pool build and did a great job. We went from a bare lot to a full backyard in no time.

Only suggestion is to make sure you are very specific if you want something (plant, rock etc) in a very specific spot or of a certain type. While he follows the plans, sometimes his crew does try to improve on them :) So just be clear if it's not something that can be changed.

The Vicente crew completed an initial yard cleanup several months ago, after which time we contracted for a simple yard touch-up maintenance on a monthly basis. It involved mostly weed and leaf removal.

Problem was that the "crew" sent was never guaranteed for its size. I.e., two people often showed up, even though we paid the same price for what should have been three or four people who would naturally have been able to perform more chores that were needed.

Last week, the crew was scheduled for Monday, and after waiting for them to show, we received a phonecall from their office informing us that they couldn't be there; the visit was then rescheduled for Wednesday.....two days later. We waited all that day (Wednesday), but the crew never showed. No phonecall, no nothing! It was a total waste of our time that day.

A crew of two appeared this morning (the following Monday). We had no idea if they would be here or not, since we received no notification by phone.
I know that finding good people who are willing to WORK is difficult these days, but that problem is something I am not willing to subsidize. We will look for a more responsible maintenance company soon, and will have a contract written up that specifies how many workers will be there and for how long, keeping in mind that if we have to pay a fixed fee, the cost for two people on an hourly basis is twice as much as the cost for four workers.

I have been in business, and this company needs to brush up on its scheduling practices and communication skills in order to stay in business. If they don't, they will be eaten alive by their competitors.

I am now searching for a more responsible company that will be here when they are supposed to.

I had my new house backyard done by Vincent. From the first call to Vincent's wife Janet, I knew I was In good hands. Vince called me within 24 hours, we setup a time to show him my backyard, he was 5 minutes early. I had a plan, Vince made it better. The work started two days later. The guys that did the work were very hard workers. They worked for four days always here early and stayed until late afternoon. Bottom line, Vince and his crew went above and beyond what I expected, at a fair cost. Call Janet or Vince, they will treat you right! By the way, I got two other bids, one cheaper, one
way more expensive, Landscaping by Vincent is the real deal and know how to treat their customers.

Met with vincent and explained to him what I needed. I asked him to switch out a timer box and a sprinkler valve. He said no problem, I have a timer box on hand from a customer that didn't go through with the purchase. (That should have been my first indication that I shouldn't trust him. He then quoted me a price of 250 for the installation of the timer box and sprinkler valve. I agreed and scheduled a day to have the work done. Day of the appointment I sent a text to Vincent to confirm he was still on time for our appointment. He said he was running on time, but he wanted to make sure I was aware that the install for the two items was now 450.00. I quickly called him and he had all sorts of excuses and his pricing was all over the place. Don't waste your time with this guy. Check out the other reviews as well.

I don't recommend this company at all.

They cost thousands.

When their workmanship fails, they don't respond. I've had a patio that has warped and sank in the ground because they didn't install it correctly. They didn't use rock under the patio, just a sand aggregate.

Now that I've contacted them and asked them to fix it, I haven't heard from them.

When I was potentially hiring them, he came right out.

I've been calling them for weeks trying to get this patio fixed.

Wouldn't use them again.

Totally waste of a Friday afternoon. After driving two hours to meet Vincent and his helper on site, GIVING him my landscaping designs, HOA packet, and land plot etc I never heard from him again, even after several text messages and calls.

This company does not honor their work or word.

They incorrectly installed a patio in our backyard and as a result it sank in the ground and is not level.

We contacted them and asked them to fix it.

They said they would and after several months finally called us back and said the owner would come and look at it.

He came out and looked at it and said he would be back in a couple weeks to fix it. That was well over two months ago. Haven't heard from them since.

Poor workmanship.

Poor communication.

Does not stand by their work.

Does not honor their commitments.

Don't use this company.

These are the worst people ever!!!! They deserve 0 stars
I am disabled and had just moved to Arizona when they knock on door to do a yard clean up. They changed me 1000 dollars for basic yard work. They had 4 family members sitting on side of my house doing nothing except digging up my sprinkler box worth 90.00 and replaced it with a cheap 3 dollars round small box without my permission. They are nothing but thieves. They did not even complete my yard service correctly guess in hurry to get away. They even tried to steal my fountain in my back yard.
Do not use these people if you want a fair company to work for you.
They are lucky They got away before I found out.
Now I'm filling a police report on them and going to report them to BBB

I recently relocated to AZ and received a postcard from Landscaping by Vincent. I called for an estimate, which took a couple of days to receive a return call but they were kind and flexible once we were in communication.

Vincent was on time and willing to provide education around various landscaping questions I had asked. He was even gracious enough to work with me through my insurance/mortgage companies, as I had been hit by a microburst.

Both Vincent and Janet have been great! I highly recommend this company if you're looking for professional, adequately priced landscaping.

Vincent and staff recently completed my backyard. They did a stellar job. Great work ethic and finished the job a day early. They left the work area clean and put my furniture back. Reasonable rates.
