Don't hesitate to call 1st Choice Movers for your moving needs! They helped me move out of my house for a home remodel and did such a good job I knew I'd be reaching back out for the move back.

They just finished the move back and same great service as expected! Dominic and crew were super quick, took good care while moving my stuff, and made the overall experience a breeze.

This company was the most professional of all the others I surveyed. I liked their website and documentation. Derek responded immediately, provided detailed information so I could reasonably estimate the expected cost, and then provided detailed receipts showing the computed costs when all was done. I found out later that Derek closely monitored the packing and moving through his team leaders.

We were just moving locally. The four-member packing team showed up on time and surveyed the work. The lead packer divided the job to each of the other members and they got to work. Based upon the excellent condition of all our stuff during unpacking, they did a quality job. I really appreciate the labeling on the boxes so they were unloaded and placed in right locations. They had a great attitude and were at times singing together while working.

On the day of the move, the guys showed up on time and with two trucks and great attitudes. They loaded everything carefully. It took longer than anticipated but they stuck with it. On the far end they made short work of unloading. I greatly appreciate the care they took going up the stairs, around corners and through tight hallways.

As retired military, I've had to move from duty station to duty station. In all, I estimate I've moved at least twenty times. Comparatively, 1st Choice Movers rank at the top over all the previous packers and movers. I am pleased and very satisfied.

Moving due to divorce is not fun... And when I needed to switch moving companies last minute, I'm so glad I came across 1st Choice Movers!

They deserve all their fantastic reviews. The pricing is straight forward - no unexpected add ons. They also did a great job wrapping furniture and problem solving the movement of larger items.

Active military family of 2 here! 100% recommend, super accommodating, working a full work week and standing duty. They were able to be flexible and change pack out and move out to the weekend! The women pack out team were very fast, professional and affordable.

I have used 1st Choice now at least times in the past 10 years. I am an interior designer and have a great need for reliable movers .Derek is super responsive, honest and straight forward. Best of all are his crews! They are well trained, respectful and hard working! I just completed a 2-day move to a less than perfect job site. His guys did not complain and were quite happy even at the end of a 10+ hour day. You really can't go wrong by using this company.

The guys were all great- enjoyable to be around, extremely fast, professional. Just be prepared for your move because when they get there they go fast and get it done!

If I could give 6 stars, I would! You, dear reader, are looking for a mover. LOOK NO FURTHER! My experience with 1st Choice Movers was first class from beginning to end.

I'll start with the beginning. I sent out inquiries to several moving companies. From all except Derek at 1st Choice, I got a generic email that required me to add up their costs based on my best guess to arrive at an "estimate". Derek responded immediately with an email confirming that my date was available and if I sent him a few photos of my home, he would be able to give me a close estimate for packing and moving.

I decided to hire 1st Choice Movers because of Derek's timely responses to my questions and his detailed estimate. About 10 days before our move, we found out our new home's renovation was not going to be completed in time for us to move in. We would have to move our things into a POD. No problem at all, said Derek.

The idea of packing day stressed me out. I looked at our 3 bedroom apartment and never thought it could get done in one day. Monse, Pamela, and Yessenia were packing super heroes. Everything was carefully packed and labelled. It took them the morning to finish. I was amazed. They were all personable and efficient, to boot.

The day of our move came and the POD delivery was pushed back to late morning, Derek adjusted the moving crew's hours so I wouldn't pay for them standing around. WHO DOES THAT?!? It felt like I had a friend on my side.

Dan, Rory, and Uriel were a dream. They were lightening fast and clearly had a system where everyone knew what they needed to do to get the work done. They were all friendly and professional. They seemed happy to run up and down stairs with boxes (haha). No complaining, no surly attitudes (which I've experience with other movers).

Then we hit another obstacle. All of our things did not fit into the POD. We were in a pinch because we had moved things into the POD on Friday and had to be out of our apartment by Sunday night.

Derek and Dan to the rescue. Even though Dan and his crew had a job in the morning, they agreed to help us again the very next day. They came and packed up the rest for storage in one of the bedrooms of our new house.

In the end, what could have been a very stressful and expensive couple of days, turned out to be easier and not as costly as we had imagined.

I highly recommend 1st Choice to anyone in San Diego who needs to move. The company is made up of helpful, kind, and hard workers. It's a rare gem.

There is a reason 1st Choice Movers is consistently getting 6 stars and it's because it's well deserved. David and Luke (thanks guys) wrapped every piece of furniture in blankets, which I didn't expect, and our larger pieces in tall boxes. They moved me from my single story home into a two story, two bedroom home within 3-hours. I always underestimate how much stuff I have and how long it takes. I'm so happy I did not do this move myself. Reasonable and honest company. I will recommend them to whoever will listen.
