Wow! This place is a phenomenon! I can't believe nobody has reviewed it yet. For around 3 Euros you can sample batata heaven here as much as you like. You order and pay at the register and wait for your number to be called. It's strictly fries with toppings here and a few delicious specialty sodas and wines to wash them down. Sauces range from Vegan Mayonnaise, Dutch Ketchup, piri piri, curry ketchup to exotic truffle sauce and many others. Toppings include crispy onions (my favorite), guacamole, black beans and others. I highly recommend this place. Seating is limited and the crowd ebbs and flows. We haven't had a problem finding a seat yet. Take care on the sidewalk. It's a busy street outside. Tons of young vibrant city energy to compliment your potatotastic experience! You must try this place!
I really enjoyed my lunch here today. I had the Tex Mex Nachos that were pretty good approximation for eurovegan Tex mex. I also had the ramen tofu bowl. I was hungry! To wash it down I had a Sagres. Please come by and sample the menu. There seems to be quite of a variety of things to try and they are still tweaking the menu now and then to make it even better. I enjoyed my food! In the land of Nata and peixes it's hard not find something Vegan. Find it here!
What a fantastic intimate performance venue that's in my own neighborhood! I saw Andy Summers here last Thursday. We had great seats but it doesn't seem like there are any bad seats here. They have a really great selection of performers here. The Ukrainian Ballet is coming here the end of this month and Flock of Seagulls will be here in January! Parking was free and easy behind the building in a fenced in field, but I may just walk next time. You really should check out the eclectic program of performances scheduled for the coming months!
Cozy friendly and efficient! I've always had a hassle free experience here. Haven't tried taking the train from here but I think the amtrak station is close by. Was east to get an Uber. Be sure to tip the baggage handlers!
We have really enjoyed coming here for several years. The wonderful friendly local service is very inviting. The new Vegan menu has really raised the level of my satisfaction here as well. I seem to always get one of the Vegan pizzas with their home made vegan cheeses. Their home made cashew based cheeses are excellent! I've always appreciated their wine list as well. Pre, post, and during Covid you kept the community fed and your employees working. I'm proud to call you my neighbor!
I simply love the Monday night Wine and Pizza night! It's great! You can get a whole pizza of your choice and a bottle of (surprisingly decent) wine for $25. Try to come early in season or you may be waiting for a table for a while. Sometimes I come before 6 so I can catch the tail end of their great happy hour too. I love their Italian soda spritzer that is kind of a take off on an Aperol Spritz. I simply ask for a pizza without cheese to make it Vegan. The spinach salad with a portobello mushroom cap is also a good Vegan option here. Like most Italian restaurants their pasta is made with egg though. It would be nice if they added some other animal product free options in the future. The garlic rolls are a big favorite for many people who come here. There is something on the menu for everybody here. Solid Italian food, a large selection of wines and full bar all with excellent friendly service in a nice atmosphere keeps us all coming back regularly.
