They have now completly stopped responding to me. The crack has gotten longer with the Texas heat. The cost to fix it will be double the cost of the door. They admitted to not installing the correct support which is what is causing my roof to cave in and rest on the door. What a nightmare!
I was hoping to resolve with the company but they have deleted my husband's comments on Instagram, prevented him from commenting on Facebook and ignored our requests for them to call us. I'm still hoping we can get this resolved as there are serious quality issues. I would also caution to others that their google review page is now gone, along with other review sites (except Thumbtack, but you can't leave a review). I had to create this one to post my review.
We've had multiple issues with the 18.5ft door (5 glass panels) that was installed by Babylon. The first door was installed July of 2022 with a ton of issues. The glass wasn't cut to the right size to fit the frame so they tried to make modifications to the frame since we now had a huge hole in the back of our house. They broke 3 glass panels during the process which had to be remanufactured. The next install happened 4 weeks later in August when they installed the glass. Because of all the modifications to the frame the glass panels didn't fit uniformly into the panels or on the track. There were noticible gaps between the panels, gaps between the glass and frame, which now had multiple discolorations. They also ruined my wood floors with scratches after dropping /moving the frame and not padding the floor. They also switched up the design with no notification to us until the frame showed up (hung from the top track vs installation of doors rolling on small casters/wheels).
After they left the electricity stopped working in a portion of our house and we had an electrician come out twice. We have a report showing the issues caused by Babylon. They did take the cost off the final door installation for the electrician. We did notice cracks above the door at this time but they patched and painted it.
Fast forward, Arturo (owner) agreed to reinstall a second custom door and they did so December 2022. Since then the cracks have gotten more significant (running from the middle along the top of the door to the edge of the frame) and the door stopped opening. We received a structural engineer's report which indicated Babylon did not install the proper support required to hold up the roofline. Essentially they didn't install a support beam and that area of the house is now resting on the door, which is also why the door won't open. The cracks now extend to the outside brick. This has become a safety issue for my family and very costly to repair. We have to remove the door so the proper support can now be installed. We won't know if there damage to the door and it needs to be replaced till after it's removed. We also had additional electrical issues with this last door. I would highly caution anyone thinking of using this company to reconsider.
As an update, they contacted my husband (via instagram) today and told us we need to pay the remaining 2200 to be covered under warranty. We were told we didn't have to pay the 2200 after all the initial issues, including the three out of pocket electrician costs we paid. They also offered to have a crew install a beam next week. I don't think they understand the seriousness of the issue. We are learning the beam was installation 101 and it's not something you just pop into town to fix. They also need permits since it's structural and I don't think intend to get them.
At this point resolution for me is reimbursement for the door. The cost to fix their work is going to cost me that and more. That also isn't accounting for additional cosmetic damage they've done to my floors and outdoor patio space.
Great company that provides full service lawn and pest care for us! We can always rely on Michael Bridges to take care of our lawn. Prices are reasonable and scheduling is easy. Great customer service and I can't say enough about this company.

Thank you for using us as your lawn care and pest control service provider. We are grateful for you and for taking the time to write a note about your technician. We will pass the note on to him!
We went here last night, sat at the bar first where things were great and decided to stay for dinner. We switched to a table and told our waitress my two sons and mother-in-law would be there in about 30 at 6pm. We wanted the food close to when they arrived. Ordered calamari (great flavor although not lightly breaded) which came out in about 5 min. Ordered kids meals and two pizzas at 15 till 6. Kids meals came out in 5. After that we didn't see our server or get any news about our pizza until we flagged someone down about 45 min later. Finally someone gave us the excuse our first two pizzas were burnt and it would be another 7 min. Having two young kids done eating I took them home while my husband stayed and got the pizzas to go. They comped the pizzas, but it was a pretty disappointing experience. I really felt like they were just avoiding us and not proactive, hoping we didn't say anything. Hopefully they can work through some of these issues.
My husband and I just move to Frisco and needed a new mattress for our new home. The first stop on our search brought us to Sleep Experts because it's right by our house and I'm glad to say our search is over!
The sales woman, Marisa, was extremely helpful and could not have been more patient as I peppered her with what I'm sure felt like 100 questions :). The no pressure, take-your-time approach felt more like sleep consulting than sales! (My husband is in sales...so I can fairly decipher the difference ;)
In addition, they have toys in store and are very prepared for families with kids to spend some time there while selecting a bed.
Would recommend!
Best nail salon I have been to since moving to Texas. I actually have been trying out many different places to make sure it's the best and I'm done with my experiment. I have had to many disappointing experiences in my search.
I feel like a judge a nail salon on the following:
Cleanliness - MiniLuxe is probably one of the cleanest salons I have been in and is spotless. It's refreshing to go to a place that you know takes cleanliness seriously.
Atmosphere - It's a gorgeous space and everyone is welcoming. My technician was so sweet and we had a great conversation.
Nails - My nails were perfection and they lasted the full two weeks. This to me is one of the biggest upsides. Most of the time my nails last a little over a week. After two weeks my nails still looked fabulous, yes they were growing out but still there were no chips.
Price - While it is a little pricier than other places, you get what you pay for and MiniLuxe is worth it.
Other things to note are they have a great selection of colors and you can upgrade if you are feeling fancy. Overall I had a great experience here and will be back.
