I'm a 40 yo with a traumatic brain injury (brain surgery) that affected my speech performance (aphasia). VSLS was the best option for me to tailor my therapy with April (my therapist) to my specific needs instead of the cookie cutter programs you're offered at almost all other Speech Therapists. The virtual nature of the program offers both the most flexibility for scheduling appointments and Covid friendly environment as I am immune-compromised from my condition.

Neck pain, back pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, shin splints and just overall lethargy: those were my physical symptoms when I stumbled my way into Katy's office. Since undergoing regular treatments, not only has my knee pain completely gone away but the treatments actually make it easier to work out. Katy specializes all of her sessions to the individual's needs THAT day! I went in there with chronic knee pain from running and now that she's solved that we're on to the back pain from my bad posture from my all day commuting and computer work. Go see Katy! You won't be sorry!

    • Diving

      Santa Clara, CA

      Jan 27, 2011

I've been looking to get into diving for a while now and stopped by this place. I walked around the store for about 25 min waiting for someone to help, every time someone walked by I hoped it was 'diver dan' or one of his employees, I gave them the 'eye's wide open' i could use some assistance look but they just walked by, head down. The closest thing I received to 'HELP' was a dog running into my leg, and it wasn't even like he was trying to play, it was one of those dogs that just runs around until it hits a wall (or a customer in this case). I decided to go elsewhere, I figured if this is how attentive they are to their customers, imagine how they are on a boat??

    • Parking

      West San Jose, San Jose

This used to be your typical mall parking lot. Too few spaces, too many drivers with conflicting agenda (1/2 Parking Spot Stalkers holding up traffic, 1/2 People trying to get out of dodge and on with their lives). Now that they have added extra floors (5 total floors, 805 spaces) Federal Reality will have succeeded in erasing the "I can never find parking" excuse for not going to the row. However, with the new spaces comes new problems. The traffic pattern is ridiculous if you consider that the 880/280/Steven's Creek area is main route most people take into and out of the Row. If you are a) trying to get the the Winchester express ramp or b) trying to get from the structure to the freeway - you have to make about 3 U-turns. The ramp is a nifty idea but its more gimmicky than congestion preventing.

    • Music Venues

      Downtown, San Jose

The biggest little bar in San Jose!

This mirage located in what was once a desolate dead-zone of San Jose between the Airport and Downtown. The Rodeo Club has capitalized on the new strip mall development across the street by offering kick-ass concerts in conjunction with KRTY for free. I thought I was in Reno the second I walked in and saw the mirrored walls with neon trim and low ceilings. The déjà vu got worse as I was disoriented by the number of location to purchase an adult beverage. 7 BARS! Free line dancing lessons, A free concert, San Jose Country Radio Legends chatting folks up, local country bar regulars (see business pics) and future regulars (see my pics) and decent bar prices - I'm not really sure how this place makes money! The big winners of the evening were Jason Michael Carroll (he got a ton of new fans!) and my group of friends. We all had a blast and we didn't have to eat Ramen noodles for the next week because of the all the money we spent. I'd give this place 6 stars if they had slot machines!
