I really wanted to give more stars for service alone, even though they changed waiters half-way through our meal. Great attention from the time we sat down.
We started with calamari that came to the table so quickly and was so bland and rubbery that there was no way it was made fresh.
My husband had the prime rib. He loved the way they charred it and said it was cooked the way he wanted it. I had the salmon special. It was dry and small and not worth the price in any way. I had salmon a week before at a similar restaurant downtown and it was cooked perfectly so being a steak restaurant is no excuse. We also had mashed potatoes (dry) and lobster mac and cheese. no lobster in the mac and cheese - just one small lobster tail on top.
We spent $300, including tip for 2 meals, an appetizer, 2 sides, 2 drinks and water. The menu on their website does not have the most current prices.

There is no other place I would take my jewelry to get repaired. I recently had to get a ring cut off, soldered to a larger size and cleaned. It looks brand new now! My husband brought in a watch that had not been running for years and they fixed it when another place couldn't. And my son took in a nugget bracelet from the 80's to be resized to his wrist and it looks perfect. The couple that owns it are funny and friendly. A North Park gem. Happy they are in our neighborhood.
Our family and friends stayed here for a few days at the end of summer. It was the perfect location with plenty of parking close to the entrance. There are 3 full sized bedrooms and it comfortably slept 7 people + one black lab. The downstairs bedroom is great for kids with a ton of space, a full size bunk bed plus a queen size bed.
There was everything we needed from cookware to a coffee maker and a washer and dryer. The main floor has a big table where we could all easily fit to dine and play games at night. The location is perfect. Walking distance to Fox and Hound restaurant and within a few miles of others. And we could easily get to different locations to hike and boat, too.
The host was super responsive and the home was clean and really comfortable. It was a great getaway! We will be back.
I recently stayed 5 nights. The first room they put me in had ants crawling on the nightstand and across my bed. I called the front desk many times with no answer, finally got someone to respond who transferred me to the manager who never answered, messaged the hotel from my app and emailed Hilton for 2 days and nothing was done. I did not ask to move just wanted to get someone to vacuum my room and clean up. The room was clearly dirty. It took by the 3rd day until I was able to speak to someone at the front desk who helped by moving me to another room. It was much cleaner. However, when I picked up the room phone there were old eyelashes stuck to the phone cord.
The lobby and gym are nice. Parking is easy. I really wanted to like the hotel. However, it was musty smelling, the rooms were not very clean and it just felt like a big hotel with no personality.
Brought my laptop in for a new trackpad. They were very honest that it could take weeks because of workload. Laptop was ready a week before they promised. Works perfectly.
