First time trying stretch therapy! I discovered StretchLyfe when they came to Playa Vista and were showcasing their services. I was lucky enough to get a quick stretch therapy session and was intrigued enough to try them out for a session and I'm so glad I did! I got a chance to connect with Cameron & Sarah who are amazing! They use theraguns in part of the session that really opened up some tight/tense areas for me. And then those stretches...so deep! Of course we can all stretch but have the assistance helps you go deeper into the stretch which is really helpful!

I was lucky to experience a taste of Hey, Sunshine Kitchen at a Yelp Elite event recently and after a delicious preview, I enjoyed it so much that I went to their location in Culver City and ordered enough food to last me a few meals!!

I ordered Backyard BBQ Tofu salad, Mediterranean Chickpea sandwich and a side of potato salad.

Everything was so flavorful!! I'm not vegetarian or vegan but I would come here often! They have a unique variety of tasty dressings that I'd mix & match next time. Good portions and very filling.

My only con: I think the potato salad could have had more flavor but given that I rarely order that anywhere I go, maybe that dish usually is supposed to not have a lot of flavor.

You're going to sweat in places you didn't know you could sweat. You're going to build muscle in places you didn't know you could build muscle.

I was lucky to be invited to experience a free hot fusion yoga class by yelp LA. I hadn't done hot yoga since Bikram in Hermosa Beach about 10 years ago. Holy moly hotness! What an amazing class and our instructor Celia (Hope I'm spelling that correctly!) was great!

The facilities are nice & clean with a stocked bathroom & showers. Everyone who works here is welcoming.

First time here...i was in same parking lot running an errand when i saw a menu of pastas with a lot of flavor. Naturally, i walked in! I ordered the "flamin's creation" as-is with medium spice. BEWARE: medium packs a punch...a good one! I'm usually ordering medium spice at Thai & Indian restaurants -- let's just say I'm thankful i got the garlic bread because that'd really helped!

Portions are large so def will have some leftover for the next day. Only area of improvement/feedback: garlic bread was a little tough to chew and hard but the flavor was great!

Best of all- everyone that works here is super nice and friendly:)

After all the targeted ads about head spas, I caved! I took my mom for an early birthday experience-- we've both had something similar in countries like India but gave Mimosa Head Spa a shot.

From the time i entered the establishment, the two women working at the time were kind and approachable. However they didn't speak any English so i couldn't get any questions answered on the add-ons or understanding more about what to expect in the service. I got the $90, 60 minute package. Also, I opted to get a scalp exfoliation add-on -- unfortunately pretty disappointing. It was like a really small amount of a scrub (similar feel to a facial scrub) and it was barely massaged into the top part of my scalp, felt ripped off as it was $10!!!

I can't tell if they sanitize their hairbrushes as they were just sitting outside by the mirrors. Also during the service, given all the massaging/scrubbing, that naturally creates tangles and the lady didn't even get them all out. She pulled each strand apart which hurt a lot. I ended up combing my hair myself.

And when I got home that night, i could see my hair was oily even after the shampoo! ‍ i don't know the brand but they used tea tree products. If you choose to get the facial exfoliant add-on for $5, just know they use an over the counter Okay Regenerist scrub. Unfortunately, the container they showed me was empty so I opted out.

Overall, unlike the videos, this experience was not soothing or relaxing. Water temps were all over the place. Water was out of a hose rather than the nicer/cooler looking ones in every video where it looks like 7 streams of water.

You can pay with your credit card (and tip can go on there too!). If you want, you can get a stamp card to save on your visits.

Overall? Nothing against this place, but I didn't think it was worth the money.
