Best Buy is scum! I've already written about how I bought an Air Conditioner from them... on the condition they would install it. I det up an appointment. Air conditioner delivered... Then, "Sorry we don't install air conditioners that are not in the window."

I had to return it. And unless I brought it to a UPS office, I had to pay for pick-up. That's a 125lb machine... like I'm gonna carry it to a UPS office.

I continued with my TOTAL TECH membership, even though the local store closed. I had previous success with a guy who fixed my printer a couple years agos... and with the $200 a year plan, you get unlimited home visits... NO YOU DON'T!!! The system changed and all you get is phone support. If you want someone to come and fix the problem it'll cost you an extra 80 bucks. Of course they didn't tell me that when they automatically renewed my membership.

POW! Total Tech canceled. I'll do my best to NEVER buy at Best (make that WORST) Buy again. Keep away!!! They're evil!

Wow! It reminded me a little of the Dr. Who police box, tiny and unassuming on the outside and opens to wonders. This place looks like an old barely surviving restaurant from the outside, and opens into a newly updated beautiful interior. There's sometimes only one person handling those seated inside... and with plenty of packing for pick up and delivery... she's often really busy.

But always with a smile, and a help. Right off the bat we were offered a free bowl of soup. I had the hot and sour, and it was spicy, but not killer spicy... just right. Everyone got different main courses, and no one was disappointed. The fried dumplings were slightly more popular in our party than the steamed ones. The main dishes (I had the tripe) were all cooked just right and had a kick... but NOT a boot to the face. No room for dessert, so I can't report on that. The portions were all generous.

A GREAT place, just a block away from the subway. The menu is completely mix... truly EXPAT. A mix of American, Vietnamese, Chinese, Indian... and that's just the burgers! For expats and locals too. The staff is also helpful and understanding. (I had a reservation for 6 and no one but me showed up!) The ambience was friendly, with a good mix of bar surrounded by various sized tables. If I lived closer, I'd be there every night.

Nice atmosphere, exotic privacy curtained off rooms... your enemies will never find you. Nice service too with huge and tasty hamburgers. BUT, come on Yelp, two dollar signs? I had the cheapest main dish (sausage... 4 tiny slices), 1 side and two beers. My bill with tax and tip came to over $100. I'd recommend it, and gladly go back if someone else were picking up the tab.

Great meat pies: chicken, shepherds, and service is so friendly, you'll likely exchange phone numbers with the server. They also are extremely tolerant. We had reservations for 6... half didn't show up. And one of us got so politically riled up, he stalked off early. Despite all that, the servers were friendly, and maintained their sense of humor better than we did.
