The cappuccino was overall pretty good; it just starts out a little too burned/bitter, and is less smooth and refined than Blue Bottle.

Got the job done, but tried to rip us off.
## Update 8/15: Their reply denying this is untrue. Details further below. ##
We had Romex running directly into an appliance, and we wanted the wire to be terminated with an outlet box, instead. My wife first spoke with Pacific Coast Electricians, who quoted her $500-$1,600 for the job (the top end of the range was for a dedicated circuit). So, I called and asked for the same thing and got quoted $375-575 (the top end of the range, again, was for a dedicated circuit). Apparently, I didn't sound as easy to rip off as my wife.
When I asked why he was proposing a new circuit, he said it would be better. When I asked "Why? What else is on the circuit?" he said he didn't know (I knew it was just a couple light fixtures), so I asked for them to just simply terminate the existing run with an outlet.
Next I grilled him about the $375. I asked if he needed to install conduit, and he said no. I asked him how long it would take to just add a box and outlet to the existing wiring and he said "an hour." I knew it wouldn't take that long but I also didn't really feel like finding another electrician, so I let that be and said, "I don't understand why you're asking for $375 for an hour of work and $15 in materials." He gave some BS about quality and warranty. Considering it's licensed work, the "minimum quality" he's allowed to do is more than fine. We ended up agreeing on just a couple hundred bucks, well under the $500-1,600 they first quoted my wife.
## UPDATE 8/15/2017 ##
Tricia from PCE replied via Yelp on 8/8 (and updated on 8/15) to claim that they were not the ones who treated us so poorly. That's untrue, I double-checked my invoice to verify that it was from them. She also misunderstands the "quote over the phone." The electrician was on site, I called him while he was there to follow up on the quote he gave my wife.

Dear Robert,
I personally have checked our records and see we were NOT the company who treated you so poorly.
I am sorry to hear you had a troubled experience as you can see from our 5 star rating it is not how we treat our clients. Ever.We hear this question at least once a week. While the answer is very simple, there's so much that goes into the reasoning. We aren't trying to be rude or sound like we are putting you off, but no. Provide a quote over the phone is simply not professional because all aspects of a job cannot be accounted for over the phone and therefore at best it is misleading and leads to misunderstandings.
Here are four reasons why we don't give price quotes over the phone:
A. We want to be thorough
Even if you're able to give perfect dimensions of your space, we might be looking for things which aren't apparent to the untrained eye.
When we have a chance to come into your space and inspect things with our own eyes, you have the greatest chance of getting the best options, warranties, service and price.
Plus, talking a project through onsite with a homeowner when we can see the space helps us to better understand your vision and the overall scope of the proposed work!
B. We want our cost quote to be accurate
Sometimes there are details that might get overlooked by a homeowner because you see them every day, but our professional technicians might think otherwise. We service over a thousand clients a year.
And vice versa: What might look like a "very large" crack to you, could really just be a minor one to us. It's all in the details.
C. We want to give you a fair estimate
We don't want to overcharge you, and to be fair to all parties but if we can't actually see the space, it's very difficult for us to be precise and to take all aspects in to account.
We need to take measurements, know how the wall was treated previously and evaluate all the relevant aspects . If we're unable to do those things, we're more likely to overestimate time, manpower and materials which means increased cost for you. And that's just not fair to anyone.
D. Each space is unique
Just like snowflakes and people, every home is unique. There's not a single one that is exactly the same because they weren't lived in by the same people, and they certainly haven't been treated in the same exact way. Sheen, previous coatings, work performed by others, age and condition of the home and of course, design all make your space unique, and unique deserves attention.
We really do care about your space and we want you to be pleased with your finished product. If we're unable to be thorough, accurate and fair, it's unlikely your space will feel special, unique or provide you with the desired outcome.
An interested, trained professional and an on-site estimate, allows you to talk face-to-face and know they're not only listening, but that they also understand and can give you suggestions and recommendations with an accurate price for your desired finished product. It is entirely possible that as a result of seeing and discussing all the relevant facts of a job that the scope of work might become something different than originally anticipated and therefore affecting the price.
3. Whoever provided the quote to the client gave a price range subject to the scope of work to be performed.
4. Important to note is that most appliances are required to be on a DEDICATED circuit.
your appliances may not be wired properly. Dedicated circuits are required by the National Electrical Code for major electrical appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, space heaters, and more. They ensure enough power is available so that appliances can operate safely, without overloading the system.
A dedicated circuit is set aside with a specific purpose, with its own circuit breaker in your electrical box. A dedicated circuit is intended for use with a single appliance only. No other appliances will be plugged into or utilize the energy from this circuit, making it "dedicated" to that single appliance. Dedicated circuits ensure major appliances that draw a lot of electrical current are able to access the energy they need without overloading your system, blowing a fuse or tripping a circuit breaker. Certain medium to heavy duty appliances may require a dedicated circuit.
I hope this helps you understand our policy but again, we do not service your area nor can I find any evidence that anyone in our company even spoke to you or your wife.
Warm regards,
Tricia
Decent food -- good enough -- paired with a nice setting and a classy-but-dated ambiance.
Great place to take dogs in the city! Large off-leash area and a small lake with a ramp where dogs can swim.
From the official Rec & Parks website: "The dog play areas in McLaren Park are among the largest in San Francisco and they offer hundreds of dogs a day both big fields and trails. There are two dog areas in this park, one behind the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater and one at the intersection of Mansell Street and John F. Shelley Drive. These play areas serve a diverse cross-section of San Francisco residents from the blue-collar Excelsior District and Visitacion Valley to some of San Francisco" http://sfrecpark.org/destination/john-mclaren-park/mclaren-park-geneva-dog-play-area/
I don't usually have hair, but when I do and I want a quick, friendly, convenient, low-priced haircut I come here!
