Food is pretty good and the staff seems pretty great. My only complaint is how small the place is. Things just feel a bit cramped in there.

Husband and I went here for our anniversary. Atmosphere was pretty nice, typical of a steakhouse, and staff was great. We received some "beet ceviche" compliments of the chef shortly after we were seated and placed our drink orders. The ceviche was great: really tangy and crisp. We then ordered some oysters and duck tacos to start. Oysters were really good and we appreciated to variety of accompaniments. The duck tacos were actually pretty heavy for how tiny they are and the meat was really rich and flavorful. Honestly, I don't know that I would choose them again as a starter. They were delicious but just a tad too overwhelming for me to start. We received some lovely complimentary popovers that were flaky and buttery between our starters and main course. For our main, we got a few ounces of the Japanese tenderloin, 6 ounces of filet minion, and the potato aligot and macaroni gratinee sides. The Japanese tenderloin was definitely the highlight of the meal for us. The meat was deliciously flavorful and tender. The presentation is pretty neat too: they also bring it out raw to show you the fine marbling of the meat and then cook it in front of you on a scalding hot salt block. It's easily the most expensive item on the menu (each 2oz is $25) but damn worth it. The filet minion was also delicious. My husband and I each got 6 ounces and had it cooked medium rare. The sides were candidly a bit of a letdown. The macaroni was essentially baked Mac and cheese with breadcrumbs over the top. It was good but paled when compared to the other dishes we had. As far as the potato aligot, I did not like it at all. It's supposed to be super cheesy mashed potatoes but it's pretty much all all cheese with a touch of potato. It ends up congealing together shortly after served and does not taste great. Aside from the sides everything else we had here was just divine. When it came time to order desert, we were surprised with a complementary sweet sticky bun to share. All in all, great experience. Will definitely be back here.

Was excited to try this place given some of the long lines I noticed when they first opened. Pretty neat outside seating area (inside looks like an orange creamsicle Steak & Shake, very retro vibes). However, food was not very good. Candidly, I just think they're just trying to do too much (the menu is huge) rather than do a few dishes very well. We ordered several dishes and everything we tried was bland and flavorless. I absolutely hate the way they prepare their hash browns. It's essentially a squared off mile of mush with no crisp whatsoever. The only saving redeeming quality of this place was our server, who was kind and attentive. Nevertheless, can't say I'll be back.

I'm giving this place one star not because the food or coffee are not good but because of truly the most heinous customer service I have ever experienced. It is astonishing to me that this place continues to be in business.

They are the slowest at making anything. I had a thought to just call in my order and that worked...for a while, but then they just stopped answering their phone and now, they never do. EVER. I have tried all business hours and on every day of the week, just to see if someone, anyone would answer but they never do.

The people are also rude as hell. They spend time talking and carrying on with conversations while there is a line and when they finally do break away, they are clearly annoyed that you would interrupt their precious conversation and make them do their job.

Just pass on this place. I hope they get replaced with another establishment that is efficient and values it's customers.

Great food, great ownership, and awesome for families! I come here at least 2-3 times per week. I just can't help myself. Lunch is great but breakfast is really my favorite. The quiches and egg bites are so hearty and delicious! The best neighborhood deli!
