I hate being mean but this place has the dumbest waitress ever. Can't understand your order and takes the wrong order.
I asked if I can have the beef gyro plate and beef gyro wrap, then I asked her if plate has white rice and she said it has yellow rice.
She then asked me to check my order and I asked her why do the two orders look the same? Does one of them have rice? And she said it's on there.
When my order came, I was like where's the rice? She's like you checked the order. Mind blown stupidity. Why did we have a conversation about rice ?!
I also asked if they have a kids menu and she's like no. Then when I was ordering the burger she asked me if I want a junior burger.
And she rang me up for four burgers when I only ordered three.
Advice to owner: your food is good, get rid of the dumb girl if you want more business.
Love the ramen here - thicker chewier noodles, which is what I like anyways! The broth is lighter and not as heavy as other places which is amazing! Also the soft boiled egg was cooked perfectly! We also got the takoyaki and chicken karage to start with. We were so stuffed after!
You can order and pay directly from your phone and food comes out super fast! Perfect for a quick lunch bite !!
I love the oyster pancake and the beef noodles here! So delicious! The chicken chop was good too. The pig intestine rice noodles was ok. But there aren't many places with that so can't be too picky.
The owner is friendly and nice, she comes by personally to check how you're doing.
Make sure you try the oyster pancake, it's crispy on the edges and they splurge on the sauce so it's drowned in the yummy tangy sauce! Yum!
I would give this place a four star for food and probably a 2 star for service. So we're at 3 stars this is a mom and pop tAiwanese restaurant and the food is legit. The beef noodles is delicious, the oyster pancakes is yummy, the pig intestine mifen is filled with intestines. The only thing is that the wait can be long depending on the day since they're short staffed. The first time we ordered we waited for 1.5 hours. My husband was so angry, luckily the food was good so he calmed down after he ate but really... 1.5 hours wait is unacceptable.
We tried it again recently on a weekday and it was 30 minute wait, much more palatable the food is legit so I hope they can stay open! Will try other stuff next time!
The stand out dishes from here are the xlb - has a ton of soup inside it and even when I drop it or poke at it, the skin doesn't break. This is super rare outside of DTF! Their skin is a little thicker but still good!
The egg pancake is crispy and yummy with fluffy egg and cheese.
The beef noodle was just so so, nothing that stands out really.
This place is always crowded so come early if you don't want to wait in line! Must try their xlb!
This is the best hidden gem in fremont! They have weekday specials that are amazingly priced. They also have the best banchan (little dishes like kimchi, tofu, daikon) to go with your meal. Everything we've tried has been amazing!
We typically come on Tuesday or Thursday since they have specials on their soft tofu. Must try if you're in the hood!
This place is a hidden gem near ranch 99 in fremont. Their tofu is super hearty and flavorful. Tastes like beef based tofu broth. Also the seafood pancake is super crispy!! Soooo good! We also got the galbi and it was an overkill because the portion is huge!! Had leftovers for dinner.
There's a lot of variety on the menu, will be back to try more! It's a must try if you're in the neighborhood.
