It's great for Kosher pizza, which isn't what I look for in pizza but I had to place a large order for an event and was pleasantly surprised. It's certainly not something to go out of your way for if you don't need Kosher food, the crust is doughier than I like and the sauce is fairly simple without much flavor, but there's nothing objectionable about it. And the toppings are fresh, I was especially impressed with their mushroom slice, which didn't have any red sauce unfortunately but did have quality, meaty mushrooms.
Solid and affordable spot for sushi. Their service was especially sweet and I would rate that separately at 4 stars.
The chirashi was wonderful: salmon, tuna, yellowtail, mackerel, crab, octopus, shrimp, and mackerel. I especially enjoyed the mackerel, fishy and smoky. It comes with a soup and salad, and my only complaint is the drown the salad in ginger dressing. The dressing is good, they just don't need to use so much!
The wasabi pork dumplings are also a must, the wasabi infused into the dumpling wrapper.
I personally wasn't feeling their roll options. I like a alot of tuna/salmon combos, or eel rolls, and I just wasn't seeing many of those that spoke to me. I also tend to pick special rolls that aren't fried, and they didn't have a lot of "big deal" rolls that get kind of busy with many ingredients. Two rolls featured cream cheese, another boneless chicken, three variations on the basic California roll - just odd choices. I forget what I ended up ordering, but it was covered in way too much crunch. Other than that I thought it tasted good.
It's not a restaurant to come out of your way for but it's good choice if you're in the area.
The only thing I would order again was the dynamite appetizer: broiled scallops, crabmeat, "mushroom caviar", and mayonnaise. The ingredients did not mesh well, the scallop was mushy, there was a lot of excess liquid, and there were mushrooma but I'm not sure what about them made them "caviar".
Surprised at the three star rating! This spot gets extra points just for being open 24/7, it's really difficult to have a quality meal past 2am and this place delivers. Beyond that, I loved everything I ordered.
The seafood pancake was delicious and had the perfect oily/crispy texture. The squid with udon noodles comes with raw onions and scallions, excellent choice with a little spicy kick, although I do wish there were more noodles. My favorite order of the night was the beef brisket. It arrives sizzling, the beef super tender and juicy with just the right amount of melt in your mouth fat. Definitely get this!
Solid slice. I'm a fan of saucier pizza and there's tends to be lighter on sauce, heavy on cheese. They do add extra sauce to their bacon and pepperoni slice and that would be my top pick. One slice of bacon and pepperoni and one plain slice comes to a little over $8, so I agree with some other reviews that it's on the pricey side, but then rhe cost of everything is going up now. I will say the bacon and pepperoni are good quality, I especially like that they use the little pepperoni that curls up into a bowl shape to hold all that juicy pizza grease.

Thanks Lucy! If you enjoyed your experience we'd appreciate if that reflected in your star review.
An absolute gem of a bar and music venue, one of only dedicated venues for folk, bluegrass, and Southern music in the city. Old NY charm, local art, cozy booths, dim lighting, tons of characters and staff that treats you like family. My only gripe is the food is downright bad much of the time, the mac n cheese in particular was most recently served with mushy overcooked noodles in a sea of completely liquid cheese. The menu has lots of Cajun call outs (and you'll often hear a New Orleans classic played in the background!), but I've never been happy veering into anything except french fry territory. Not a big deal to me as that's not why I come, but something to keep in mind if you arrive hungry.
