I come onto Yelp and see that the secret is out - Manor Pest Solutions is the best around and the reviews clearly show why.

Our homeowners association has been using Manor Pest Solutions for our spider problem for the past few years. It's something that requires ongoing upkeep throughout the year. What has struck me about my interactions with Joseph is that all of the responses are thoughtful, respectful, prompt, and clear. For example, I emailed Joseph last night around 8pm to ask about a wasp's nest. He called me back first thing this morning and offered to take care of it right away.

I work with a lot of businesses in my personal and professional life and without hesitation, Manor Pest Solutions stands out. Thank you Joseph and Manor Pest Solutions!

I am disappointed to be writing this review but there are safety issues here. This is my second time dining here. First time was last August and it was pretty decent experience overall, so when I was craving seafood we decided to come back here. We have enjoyed lobster rolls from many restaurants all over the Bay so we are no newbies to the dish.

I ordered their signature lobster roll with butter, which arrived first out of all the things. When it came out it was covered in a spice dusting. I ate a few bites and didn't think it tasted like a lobster roll with butter. I also noticed the meat was quite mushy. I had my husband try it and he agreed that it was mushy. I tried one more bite and also noticed a slight smell of ammonia. My stomach immediately turned and I stopped eating it.

I gave it some time and then turned to the dozen oysters. They were fine but quite tiny and not worth $45. Look, we eat oysters and we pay good money. When I say tiny I don't mean like kusshi small cuz those manage to be meaty still, they were scrawny. Forgot to take a pic but oh well.

The oyster po boy my husband got was fine but pretty small. The waffle fries were also fine. The slaw I added for $2 was tiny and atrocious.

My husband let one of the staff members know and they asked if it was the cold lobster sandwich we ordered. Didn't see the staff member alert anyone about it.

As we got up to leave we also saw a staff member place the lids to two of their trash cans on one of the dining table.

Needless to say we are not coming back. The portion sizes were not great but I usually won't super begrudge that. The quality and the lack of concern with what we reported is really an issue and will be what causes us to not return.

Some of the best Mexican food nearby! Open later than most which is a plus for us.

The proteins are prepared really well, even just the grilled chicken breast in my nachos was well seasoned and moist. I love that their nachos use thicker chips so they don't become a sogged out mess from the start. On my last trip my husband had a grilled burrito which was also on point - well wrapped, crispy on the outside and a good soft mix of ingredients on the inside.

On other occasions we've also enjoyed the super tacos, esp the shrimp and lengua ones. I definitely want to return for the chilaquiles.

Most of all, I really like their super friendly staff! Everyone I have encountered is so nice. That make a a huge difference in my book.

We went there last night when we realized a Dough Zone had opened in our own town! This took over where Hong Kong Chef was on East 14th. It is a good place for introduction to Xiao Long Bao (xlb) and dumplings if you haven't had em before.

Most of the food was decent and of good value. It's intended so that customers can try many different dishes. Our favorite was the pork and crab xlb. The skin for the xlb here is on the thicker side but that also meant no loss of soup. I would probably skip the noodle dish as it was not a good value for price vs. noodles received. The seaweed appetizer was also a great palate cleanser throughout.

Perhaps pre pandemic this would have been a casual sit down restaurant but to me, this feels almost fast casual with the use of the online ordering system. That said, the service was wonderful and maybe even a little too attentive as they build up from their soft opening :) the food also came out in a somewhat stilted order with the noodles coming out first and the banana naan dessert item coming out before the green onion pancakes did. I don't really ding them for any of these things given that they apparently just opened on Monday 11/14!

All in all, is it the best xlb place around? I'd say there are other tasty places with larger menus a somewhat short drive away (88 Baobao, Din Ding, Bing's, Pan Fried Dumpling to name a few) but I would definitely come back for a quick and easy meal.

Basing this review on the food itself and not the experience, which was unfortunately less than optimal.

We are visiting from the Bay and decided to try some of the breakfast burritos on Eater's list. The Doubtless Thomas sounded interesting so we went for it. I called in an order at 11 and drove over. I paid at 11:29. I then waited. Finally at 11:48 I was given my box. The staff seemed a bit confused when I got the box, so I opened it and felt the food. It was cold, though the bottom of the box was still slightly warm to the touch.

I am usually the type to not want to be a bother, especially with how small businesses are having a harder time these days, but you could see the condensation inside the box and nobody wants to eat a soggy burrito. I let them know the problem and asked for them to cook it again. There was some discussion by staff (how long was it sitting here, what did she say, that kinda stuff). Another burrito had just finished so they just gave that to me.

Big difference. Actually hot, not full of condensation, and not sitting in big pool of liquid. I am glad I was able to try this burrito as it was intended because the meat was juicy, and the salsa verde had clear chunks of chile in it. The habanero onions also added a nice brightness. The eggs were nice and soft. There was a nice combination of items, i.e., it wasn't like too much of one thing and not enough of another. I would definitely eat this again.
