Went with a group, so we were able to try lots of different things. The service was very good. The beers were tasty but the food was only okay, at best. Seems like a good spot for a drink and a snack. Not were I'd recommend heading for dinner.
Boo. The service was bad on my last visit. I got all sorts of attitude from the server. Really not okay to pay a ton for a cup of coffee and not get it served up with a decent attitude. I'm boycotting.
Very good coffee from some definite coffee snobs (in an okay way- but they do make a person feel guilty for adulterating the coffee with milk.) The prices reflect that they are expensive roasts of coffee, so it couldn't be an everyday thing for me. Similarly nice beer selection.
I'm torn- I like being able to walk into a restaurant and get a seat, so I don't really wish this place was too crowded. However, I also like to see good restaurants doing well. I don't know why Paprika isn't more crowded. It's an inviting space that makes you feel transported to Europe. The servers are very friendly and the food is tasty. To my surprise, it even works well for vegetarians. The veggie options are a little limited, but the vegan sausage is very good and the soups are delicious. Oh, and I did I mention the tasty beers? My verdict- Paprika serves delicious, well rounded meals in a nice atmosphere.
Brought in two blazers (nice, lined blazers) to have the sleeves shortened. Michelle was efficient and altered them for $30 a coat. It was exactly the price I imagined. Definitely affordable. The work was well done and completed in a few days, as promised. I'll be going back.
This was our first stop in Paso Robles. They had a couple of the nicer wines we tasted while in town. The staff was friendly and knowledgable. We did the free tasting and contined on to the $5 tasting. Didn't try the pairings, but they looked nice. We did enjoy a picnic out on their sunny front patio.
