The worst ever!!!!!!! Please do not even try this place. I took my 7 year old son here and he was super excited to try this place, since we're vegans. My son got Cookie Monster and he said it tasted like medicine on the way home... so we went back and the server said I had to buy a new one, because he ate some already. DUHHHHHH! That's how he knows it's nasty. For the sake of customer service, she screwed that up and definitely encouraged this review, because she was very insensitive about it. Not to mention, they sell the stickers that are supposed to be used for promoting their business. My son picked up stickers and she wanted me to pay. BUT everyone else's stickers are free and handed to kids. Welcome to Hollywood!
They run out of everything at this location. Never fails... and this is an ongoing thing. You order something and it's possible that they can't make it, because they ran out of "something"... whatever that something is.
Please train ESSENCE on customer service and the importance of people skills...
I've been coming to this location for years and I couldn't believe how I was treated by ESSENCE, which is the front desk receptionist. I called before arriving saying I would be there within 3 minutes and right at cut off, but the phone call went immediately south and she wanted to prove that I wouldn't make it in time. I wish I didn't call at all!
After the phone call, I set a timer on my phone, got a parking right in the front and boom was in just in time. But ESSENCE was already ready to tell me that I was 10 minutes late and was so satisfied at me arriving late. So we went back and forth about the 9 minutes VS. 10 minutes and after all that my wax lady wasn't even ready to receive me. Luckily, I was recording me walking in and interacting with ESSENCE the entire time. Because she refused to give me her name, she said she couldn't give me management info or name and I had to ask her co-worker for her name. That's how I got her name for this review and the complaint I submitted online.
I asked her to cancel my passes please and requested a refund and she was acting like she couldn't do that, but I said I wouldn't leave until the email was sent.
Please keep in mind that in the past I've been called to push back my appointment because they were running late. Or been in situations that I was doubled booked or rescheduled because of a mishap on their end. So, I was so shocked at ESSENCE huge EGO and attitude behind that desk. I just felt embarrassed and uneasy and would never get a wax anywhere that makes me feel uncomfortable.
END RESULT: I'm never going back to this place again! I called another location that's owned by a different owner and explained exactly what happened and they offered to help with their more experienced staff. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THE HOLLYWOOD - Vine Street LOCATION! Go to SUNSET or somewhere that isn't owned by the same owner.

If you want a REAL WAX please call this place and ask for TANAE... I'm a regular here and stop coming for awhile, until I saw the "Under New Management" sign. So I thought to myself, let me give this place another shot! So happy I did, because I randomly got Tanae and she was awesome! She also suggested a few products, which I purchased, and took her time to explain the instructions properly. I referred my sister there and definitely felt the same way!!! So I'm glad to be back. Because I go to the nail salon directly next door. Also, the receptionist is extremely professional and helpful.
Great place! I went to get a pair of cycling shoes and the owner suggested somewhere cheaper and said I can by just the clips from her w/ install. Saved me a lot of money!
This place is like dry cleaning for sneakers! However, you have to pay first and the shoes will be ready in about 3 days. Pretty freaking cool I took two pairs of my yeezy's here and they came out clean and fresh. So, this is my go to spot for anything sneaker!
