We were happy to have some ethnic food while we were in town. We elected to sit on the patio which was eerily quiet - definitely could've used a radio with music or a TV with college football. We had the Jaeger schnitzel and the kase schnitzel. They were both fine. We enjoyed it because it had been a while since either of us had any. We got the stuffed cabbage and pierogies for our parents. They enjoyed the pierogies and thought the cabbage was fine. Overall, glad to have something different while traveling.

We had a great time at our first visit to Mark's. We were lucky and were seated immediately. The food was delicious and, again, we were lucky to go with experienced friends who managed the whole process for us. This is a loud, active environment, so would not recommend for a quiet date unless that's what you're looking for. Definitely go with experienced folks and prepare to wait in line.

Like many people, I went based on tiktok reviews. I didn't find it to be different from most other hair braiding places except for two things - the styling options and the payment process.

They are able move so quickly because they use multiple braiders and (as i was told) only do medium parts with medium sized braids. I was fine with that because I prefer to have fewer braids as it's less damaging to the hair. When I looked around the salon, most people were getting a variation of the same style.

The other difference was the payment. Instead of having a person at a desk taking payments, payment was by app. I believe there was no charge if you paid by Venmo, but a $5 fee if you used cash app. This made paying fast and convenient.

Overall, I appreciated the speedy work and would return. If you are a stickler for braid consistency or want something special, I'm not sure I'd use them. I went for a fast hairstlye. I arrived with washed, blow dried hair (pro tip: NEVER let any braid shop be responsible for your hair care. It's not what they do). I was in at 1:29P and out by 4:30P.

Parking was free and plentiful since it's in a strip mall.

Let me start by saying that I usually hate beer battered fish. It's usually oily and slimy. That wasn't the case here. We had the fish and chips basket, the shrimp and chips basket, and the sweet tea. The fried food was a nice quality and well cooked. The shrimp were large and had no tails. The dipping sauces were a nice touch, but I didn't see any classic vinegar, which was a miss. The service was great - accurate and friendly. The different protein options were a nice surprise. We didn't try the "dirty chips" this time or the desserts.

The location is a nice casual option at the other end of the wharf. There is more seating outside than inside. There area where you order doesn't have a great flow yet which is bit irritating when it's crowded. Hopefully they figure that out.

Overall, we were very pleased with this new, fast casual option and will definitely return.
