A new tea shop in Brea as of July. Friendly hostesses. They have 2 samples for you to try and a variety of caffienated and juice only teas/lemonades.
I'm excited to come back and try one of their caffienated boba teas as well as all of their popping boba flavors.
Oh I got a gauva sunset 1/2 sweet with rainbow jelly. Yummy!

Came here yesterday cause I was craving Spring Rolls and sandwiches and I've been wanting to try this place.

I was surprised by how much The Camp has changed. First off this restaurant has moved from it's OG spot by the parking lot (now a boba place) to where Taco Asylum used to be (next to Vitaly cafe)
Was disappointed they didn't have spring rolls (they only have those on Fridays & weekends), but they have a nice menu with some tasty options and a wide variety of beverages. (See photo)
Customer service was really great & helpful. I opted on the Banh Mi sandwhich with pork.

      First the things I liked:
The bread was fresh and had a nice crunch.

Cons: I feel like they overcompensated the ratio of pork to daikon & carrot.
The pork was good, but I've definitely had better-more tender.
Also, I noted that the sandwich was a lil on the dry side.

I think I'll come back next time I'm in the area and try their peanut noodles, or on a Friday so I can get some Spring rolls.

      Sake juice box!

Hidden away in the back of the MAKE building, across from The Packing House is a small taco restaurant.
I ordered 3 small street tacos: carne asada, Al pastor & pork belly.

The Al Pastor & pork belly were hands down the best tasting street tacos I've ever had. Crispy & juicy pork. Full of flavor and seasonings on the Al Pastor.
They have a nice salsa bar with red & green mild and a habenero which is a little too hot for my taste. The red one is just right for the tenderfoots. The green actually has packs some heat.
I think they have every protein: carnitas, tri-tip, lengua, chorizo, and something called hongas

This place is decent for the pricing. A regular Mani/Pedi is well under $60. They are quick but thorough with cleaning/cutting & shaping your nails.
They don't do the lotion on your hands & feet like other salons-that's an extra charge, so I kind of miss that.
I paid $5 extra for the leaf detail, but it was tricky keeping 'em glued down. Felt like they could snag on something. Needless to say they didn't survive the remainder of the day :(

      Pumpkin orange toes for Fall
OPI Cayenne glittery nails with leaf stickers. ($5 ea and they didn't last long)

First time eating here & I was underwhelmed. The pasta is good, but I don't think they salt their water cause the pasta was very bland.
I ordered the pasta Bolognese and we got the garlic knots for the table.
Positives: good service & tasty sauce.
Cons: The garlic bread was too soft & I didn't taste any garlic. Also, the garlic knots were a little extra toastier than I would have liked.
