Pretty good for an airport bar. Quick and friendly service. Decent food. Comes out very quickly which is great if you're in a hurry to catch a flight. Decent prices for an airport restaurant. Plenty of bar and table seating. One of the best at DFW!
My favorite place to stop for coffee in Barbourville! Great coffee, friendly staff, cute interior. They have a lot of other things for sale aside from coffee. And it's huge inside. I love this place!
Fun place! I stopped for a drink before heading to the airport. Friendly staff, inviting interior, affordable drinks. I didn't have the food but the menu looked good! It's right on the water although there is not actual waterfront seating. It's a cool place!
I will preface this with I don't love to give less than stellar reviews. But this place seemed very promising. They have a huge menu with lots of great options to choose from. So it took me a while to decide what I wanted. I decided on a few smaller items. I ordered through DoorDash, which was super quick, only like 20 minutes from the time I placed the order until it arrived at my door.
But....... The food tasted like nothing, literally. I thought I had Covid again and couldn't taste. I had the chicken pad Thai, which didn't have a taste and you can't pick your heat level so it was just bland. Miso soup, oh, so, bad. Just some tasteless broth and one piece of tofu? Just awful. Which brings me to the side salad. Just bagged lettuce, no other veggies, with watered down ginger dressing that also tasted like nothing. I also ordered a Philadelphia sushi roll for my lunch the next day. The avocado was brown already and it was also tasteless. They did give ginger and wasabi, however. Which helped to improve the taste.
I understand this is one of the only hibachi places in town, but the food was just terrible. You can tell they skimp on ingredients.
I most likely won't order from them again.
I could honestly go on and on by Optimist Hall, because it's my favorite place in the world. I used to live directly across the street, so I spent a lot of time here. All of the vendors are fantastic. I especially love velvet taco. There's something for everyone.
I recently tried mezeh, which was spectacular. Undercurrent coffee is my favorite. They'll also give you great coffee recommendations.
I could spend the entire day here. There is everything you need from free Wi-Fi to nice bathrooms. I think they charge for parking now. But you can also park across the street for free. Great location right off the light rail.
