Went on a Swim with Manatee tour today with River Ventures in Crystal River, Florida. Such a fun experience! Lexi wasn't sure before we left this morning if she would want to do it, but by the time we watched the video about how it would happen and put on our wetsuits, she was excited. If you ever have the chance to do this, I highly recommend River Ventures (and our guide and captain JJ and Wade!).

Came to Tucson for just a couple days to find if my dear friend could find a place to winter that was a little warmer than South Dakota. Chuckle.

We went for a drive to discover things in downtown Tucson and came upon this wonderful pizza place on Pennington Street that really gets it!! Riley craft pizza and drink is one of the nicest places I've ever found for this kind of thing. Courtney, the waitress, was very friendly and very helpful regarding selecting things that we wanted from the menu. She took the time to listen to us and help us understand what was available.

We each had their version of an old-fashioned and then had very interesting flatbread style pizzas.Thoroughly enjoyed this place!!!

One of the best car washes I have ever been to. I was super impressed with this car wash! They have very fine technology, the brushes are very new and very clean and it looks like they change them frequently. My car was extremely dirty when I came in and after I've gone through once it looked a lot better but I wasn't happy with the hood. I talked to Seth the manager and he said that they had turned off the front brush because of the tow mechanism on the front of my Mini Cooper. (I told this car behind our motorhome) They did this to avoid damage to their equipment and damage to my car. I took the tow mechanism off which was very easy to do and he asked me to go back through again. It cleaned beautifully and their vacuums and air sprayers are beyond reproach! I was very, very happy with this car wash!

Dan Meyers, the owner of the company, came out this morning right in the middle of the window that he said he was going to come in. He explained to me what he was going to do, he did it, went even a little over and above what he had to do and was pleasant, professional, and personable! Excellent service from a locally owned small business!!!!
