Busy on New Years (open til 4)! Says a lot that pho may or may not be a hangover remedy for the crowd here. Right in the city market so you can come here before or after browsing the fruit and veggies nearby (on weekends that i

COMBINATION PHO ($8.00): I always get this because I'm indecisive and it costs the same as the one meat choices. Solid soup, enough noodles. Actually so much noodles or so little soup that after I added my veggies it looks a little full in my bowl! There's no tripe if you were looking for that though.

BANH XEO ($8.50): Got this as takeout, not really worth the money if you ask me because there was hardly any shrimp inside :(

SWEET POTATO FRIES AND SHRIMP ($4.95): Always a treat, I love this appetizer at pho spots if they have it!

For pho noodle soup, this place is solid and brings in the crowd. There are a handful of pho options nearby but if you happen to stumble upon this one you shouldn't be disappointed!

I would say there are better taco options in the Burgh, but Condado definitely has great happy hour vibes. I wasn't feelin' Condado on my first time, so I thought to give it another chance for their happy hour.

If it is your first time, no worries because the staff is very friendly and will walk you through how to order!

TACOS (~$3.50ea): Varies in prices depending on shell type or protein. This place is by no means authentic, and you could probably go way wrong with building your own taco. There are also pre-set tacos you could choose for those indecisive folks.
GUAC: Get guac if you have at least 2 people. It was quite a bit for me and the boyfriend that we took it to go and then I forgot it at the nearby Millies..
HAPPY HOUR (weekdays 5-7PM): is really a great deal. Half off margaritas and dollar off tacos! Probably one of the better deals in the area. However, our margs tasted pretty watery, but being half off ($3.50?), it was aite. Maybe we weren't so lucky that day.

Cool vibes and decent tacos. A solid happy hour spot.

Truly a Thai restaurant gem in Overland Park, along with Bangkok Pavilion. But someone said Lemongrass has the best papaya salad in town, so we came to find out.

GRAPOW PORK ($9.95): Fried egg with the yolk still runny is just A+. It may seem like a lot of rice but it is just the perfect amount with the meat.
CRISPY CATFISH ($11.95): Crispy is right, not soggy but nicely done with a sauce that's typical on fried fish. Usually this is done on a whole fried fish, but Lemongrass does it without the hassle of messing with fish bones :). Comes on a cute fish shaped plate.
PAPAYA SALAD: Spicy, sweet, and refreshing. Careful on how spicy you make it. Lao style has fermented fish sauce and shrimp paste, which beware because it definitely can have a fishy smell. Delicious and packed with umami!

Service wasn't note-worthy, but I do think that it may have been on the slower side. Anyways, I know I'll be back to dine sometime.

Sushi craving satisfied. Clean, spacious, and rolls made to order.

AYCE SUSHI LUNCH ($12.99): The portion sizes are appropriate, so I believe your stomach can handle trying a bunch of different rolls. (I went with 3 other petite girls, but we killed the food.) Eel, Bomb Bomb, and Salmon Lover were highlights. You can't go wrong with fried rolls because anything fried is gonna be good. Volcano roll was super tasty, because it's deep fried with sauces drizzled on it.
There isn't sashimi in the AYCE, but there is sushi which is rice with slices of fish on top however they're quite thin pieces. Not bad not bad.
DON'T GET BOSTON ROLL, a friend wanted it and we were pretty disappointed but I'm not sure what we were expecting because it has lettuce.
We also got hibachi, yakisoba, fried spring rolls, and shumai, which was nice cause you can get bored just eating a bunch of rolls. Just tasted alright.
There is a small little "salad bar" with seaweed salad, sliced avocado, some desserts. There is also a freezer with cute styrofoam cup ice cream in vanilla, chocolate and strawberry.

Next time the sushi craving strikes, I will probably be back. Nothing can beat $13 AYCE sushi around here.

The star of the show here is the spicy green chili sauce. As a spice lover, that sauce made the experience that much better. This place isn't upscale by any means, but it has what you could possibly need. Good food, fast service, and reasonable prices.

CRISPY YUCA ($5.99): Yuca french fries. I think a bit too crispy but they did serve it to us fresh and hot, lightly salted. Tasty with ketchup and the green sauce!!!
1/2 CHICKEN W/ RICE & COLESLAW ($7.99): Pretty good. Honestly tastes like your average, juicy rotisserie chicken. But I'll say it was my first time having ~Peruvian~ chicken and they made it a delicious experience :)! Rice was yummy and definitely needed if you're having the green sauce too. Coleslaw to cool it down a bit.

They didn't have the ceviche that day (winter time, less people so they didn't get ingredients around that time) which was so disappointing so maybe when I come back and have that it'll bump up to a 5.
