I purchased a couples massage Groupon to go with my best friend (my husband hates massages, he's crazy)! The price was absolutely right, it was only $50 for a couples massage, but I feel now I should have realized what I was going to get for $50!

Booking the appointment wasn't that bad, it was just a two turn game of phone tag which I can handle.

I'm going to preface the following with: I'm a massage therapist, so I have a fairly high standard for massage and certain massage practices.

When I booked the appointment, Renee (the owner, I'm assuming), informed me that there was an additional $30 fee to cover sales tax and gratuity. I let it go, because I had already bought the Groupon, but I did not like the fact that she added her gratuity into a "fee". I feel it's shady business practice and one that will not bring returning clients through the door, but I'll get to more on that in a minute, on to the massage!

As for the massage, it was a very basic massage, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't necessarily good either. The office is located in the City Club building and it's a little hard to find unless you know downtown Cleveland well. The massage room was small and cramped, and it seemed like I was suffocating when I was face down on the massage table because there was a space heater fan blowing right in my face.

There were no intake forms to fill out or liability waivers to sign, which I thought was odd. I've always had my clients do intake forms and sign a liability waiver. The waiting area was a eating area for everyone that shares the 10th floor in the building so I thought that was a little odd.

I had Renee and my friend had Tanya from Tanya's Infinite Touch, I'm guessing they work together for the couples massages, they seem to share that tiny space, so I'm guessing that's how it work out. Renee worked out some my knots, but she did some joint work that I'm normally not a huge fan of. Joint work is hard to do correctly without injuring someone, so I'm very picky as to who I allow do it on me.

She didn't ask me if I wanted specific areas done, she just kind of did her thing, which for the massage novice is fine, but for someone who not only does massage therapy for a living, but also has had a million massages in her lifetime, I would probably be more mindful to ask if there were any specific areas to work on.

My friend thought that Tanya was too rough and had too long of nails to do massage properly. As a massage therapist, you should know that you shouldn't wear nail polish or have long nails.

As we were leaving, I paid Renee the additional $30 that she stated covered sales tax and gratuity.. Charging the sales tax, I completely understand, however, I don't HAVE to give you gratuity. You have to understand in this business that gratuity is NOT required. It is always appreciated, but NEVER required. It really threw me off that they were requiring that I leave gratuity when I didn't have to leave anything.

The funny thing is, I ALWAYS have tipped my massage therapist wherever I have gone, at least $20, sometimes more if the massage was amazing, but never less than $20 especially if I was using a Groupon. If Renee hadn't said that gratuity was required, I would have left $20 each for Renee and Tanya and paid the sales tax on top of that, but because they made me obligated to give them money I didn't have to give them, they got less.

I or my friend will not be going back, I don't want to have to be demanded to give them more money. Oh, well, their loss.

I absolutely LOVE this place! I was able to just do a pop in appointment (it was a Monday evening) and I only had to wait about 5 minutes. There was a lady that came in right after me that was a pop in as well and they turned her away, so I was so lucky to have walked in when I did! I was slightly apprehensive, but I needed my hair done in a jiffy for an event that I was attending that evening and I didn't want to go home and do it.

The girl that did my hair (I forgot her name, I feel awful for doing so) was wonderful! Very personable and didn't seem at all annoyed that I was just a walk in on what appeared to be a busy night!

I asked for the Southern Belle because I love big Texas style hair and I figured if anyone could do it, it would be a professional!

She washed and conditioned my hair with amazing smelling shampoo and conditioner, I plan on going back and buying some it was that good, and gave me an awesome scalp massage. She massaged for a few minutes which was absolutely wonderful, most hair places just wash and you're done!

When i was back in the chair, she blow-dried, and velcro-rolled my hair to it's glorious goodness that is in my Yelp profile pic! My hair was silky, big, and smelled amazing!

From the price to the service and location to my apartment (a couple doors down literally!), I will definitely be back when the lazy hair bug rears it's ugly head again!

OMG! I have died and gone to French pastry heaven!! I'm so glad that Laduree finally came stateside! Their macarons are to die for and I can't stop eating them! I was able to go about an hour before they closed and didn't have to wait in line at all! I quickly filled up on $71 worth of macarons and quietly slipped out my head covered in shame that I spent $71 on pastry!

All that shame aside, they are so delicious that it makes the high cost worth it. The pistachio and vanilla are my favorite, I could eat those all day every day!

I definitely intend to go back every time I go back to NYC, this may be my first stop! Forget 5th Avenue!

I've been having Bobbi take my family photos for a couple years now and I've always been happy with the results! She is professional, shows up on time, and does an amazing job of producing quality photos at a great price!

One of the things I love most about Bobbi, is that she is super affordable and I think she is a better photographer than other photographers that charge 2-3 times what she charges for a session.

She will always try and manage to squeeze you in if she can and she really works with you on what kind of end result you want to see. She also throws in her own input with poses and backgrounds that you may not have thought of.

My 9 year old has always been a little camera shy, but he will ham it up for her camera and I always love how she has been able to catch him at the right moment! It has made for some amazing memories that I will get to keep forever!

Overall, for quality of the photos, price, and the fact that she will come to wherever you are, makes her my favorite photographer in the NEOhio area. Whenever I need professional photos taken, I always come to Bobbi and I've never been disappointed!

I've been meaning to review this store for a while now. And I'm finally getting to it! At least it'll be a good review!!!

I've always been a fan of Kim Crow's fashion sections in the Plain Dealer so I was ecstatic that she was opening up her own shop. I was in when she first opened, but I really went to town a few months ago when I saw a dress on Evie Lou's Facebook page that I HAD to have.

I called the shop and spoke with Kim directly and while they didn't have my size, she was putting in another order to the designer and it would be in a couple weeks, could she call me when it came it and I could come in and try it on? I said of course and waited patiently for my Rawa dress.

As promised a couple weeks later, I got the email in my inbox telling me that my Rawa was in and I could come and try it on at any time. I came in and spent a wonderful afternoon there! Kim was extremely helpful and kept showing me things I HAD to have. I came in the middle of their big winter sale and I found 2 other things I had to have! A fabulous sweater and this adorable little poncho thing (I know when I say poncho, it sounds weird, but it's adorable and Kim knows her stuff)!

I fell in love with the oversized drapey tees and the soft sweaters that fill the space. Kim helped me with sizing, which brands run big or small, and what she thought would look good with my figure.

I love that she carries lesser known brands such as Veronique Miljkovich (who made my amazing Rawa!), Nicholas K., and Herff Christensen (which made my amazing lambswool sweater I purchased!) I love independent designers because I feel they really make clothes for the average woman and not some stick figure.

I spent the better part of near $500 there and I dare say, I could have definitely spent more, but I went right after Christmas and I definitely had to give my credit card a break!

The prices definitely range from 1 to Anthropologie, but I think the quality and merchandise is better and the overall experience is better at Evie Lou. Plus I know that when I shop here, I'm not going to be wearing the same thing that someone DID get from Anthropologie! Kim really knows her stuff and we had a lengthy conversation about Rick Owens and his fashion genius! It was so nice to meet someone who is as big of a fashionista as I am!

I will definitely be back (in fact, I need new summer wear!) and I can't wait to see what Kim has in store! :-)
