The photo says most of it but this place doesn't seem super sanitary. If we're doing dip nails in a shared space, they should be asking clients to wash their hands ahead of time. They also shouldn't be smearing nail shavings into your skin when rubbing in lotion. I was appalled. It was the first time I complained in person (regarding the finger nail color which truly gives "fungus" vibes rather than kohlrabi green--was trying to match my favorite Lululemon color LOL) but this other stuff just had me in shock. Dreading the appointment with them to fix this

They won't last for long here in Jersey City. The reviews will kill them and then they won't be able to afford the rent on that space.

Update: Went back to get the color fixed. They seated me next to the nail tech who had done my original dip color who was gaslighting customers (one customer pointed out that she didn't cut the cuticles and she said that the woman "wasn't paying attention, second customer had to tell her multiple times she wanted her nails square, not round). As discreetly as I possibly could, I shared shared with those customers that I had a sinilar experience with that nail tech. So then the owner comes over, starts lecturing me about how I'm bad mouthing her business. The woman seated next to me tried to tell the owner that the owner was making her uncomfortable, but the owner seemed pretty ignorant and seemed to assume I was making this person uncomfortable despire the fact I did not raise my voice and have even told the owner "this is not the appropriate place to have this conversation." They removed the color, did not deliver on the color swap, but did issue the refund for the original dip powder so I'm happy enough

Nail tech I had was JOYCE who seems like a truly miserable human being seeing as she 1) sucked and 2) probably told the owner I was warning other guests about her and her horrible tableside manner.
