We have also discovered that rats got into the washing machine that we were storing here and have damaged it so severely that it is not worth fixing.
Avoid this place like the plague. This was a nightmare.
TLDR: extensive rat damage, the Manager will end your rental of the unit (and likely sell off your things) on the word of a stranger and will then cuss at you and call you names when they mess up.
Ultimately, we paid (an increasing amount of money) for the majority of our belongings to be ruined by rats which they clearly knew about when they raised the cost of rent but failed to inform us of. Anything that wasn't destroyed, had to have every nook and cranny sanitized to avoid bringing diseases into our new home which took weeks and countless hours and delayed our ability to move to a new place.
When we opened our storage unit after a few months, we found our belongings covered in mummified rats, rat feces, rat pee, furniture chewed up by rats, rat juice from rats decaying and... Rat poison which also destroyed some of our things. They had come into our unit to put rat poison and never told us a thing in the same months that they had raised the rent.
I tried to inform the manager of this and she just said that Dallas is covered in rats and to talk to insurance. I have multiple family members with storage units across DFW and they have never seen anything like this. The insurance, would only cover a couple hundred dollars which paled in comparison to what was lost. She asked if we'd be out that day. We let her know considering the damage, we likely would need until the end of the month, which we had already paid, and would let her know personally when we were done.
Later that day, we get a message that our storage was all closed out and that we needed to bring our keys to them... Which made no sense between still had some things inside and had not advised that we were done. We called them back and the manager reported that someone (not us) had allegedly told her we were all moved out. I responded that it probably isn't a good business practice for a storage facility to close out a unit without the approval of the unit owners simply because of the word of a random person and the manager said that I was stupid and a smart a$$. I was gobsmacked. We had lost nearly everything and had been frank but polite throughout the whole process despite their negligence and the manager had the gall to cuss at and insult me. I wasn't able to find any info to contact anyone above her so it seems leaving a review is the only way to share this experience. I hope that the owners of this business consider a new manager as their current one would be a huge liability should anyone less forgiving experience the same thing we did.
Ooof. I was kinda surprised.
We were hungry after a hike so we ordered food here online and were actually a couple minutes late picking up.
I go to the online order pick up register to get our food and the girl there is talking to some guy from smoothie king who hadn't ordered anything. Totally fine! I didn't mind waiting a couple minutes... But then they were done talking and she dipped out before talking to me.
I figured I maybe misunderstood something and then waited quite a while thinking she would come back but she didn't. Then some guy asked if I had an online order. I advised yes and he told me he couldn't find my order on the screen and then also dipped out to go clean stuff in the dining area before I could respond.
Finally a woman who looked like she might be the manager showed up. I let her know I was waiting for an online order which was apparently right behind the registers on the bar the whole time but she let me know that they were out of the Mac and cheese and asked if I was ok to wait another 15 minutes for it. We were really hungry so we did not want to wait longer and she said to pick another side. We picked a cup of soup and she asked if it was ok if it cost extra... Usually I wouldn't mind but at that point, it was not ok. I had waited quite a while and been ignored by 2 people... So I said no it was not ok and she acted like I was being ridiculous. It's like $1-ish extra for the soup and they were out of the sides we had requested. It's pretty normal for companies to comp the difference at that point.
Once we finally got our food, I asked where I could find the cream and sugar for coffee (a very normal thing when ordering coffee) and they acted like I was inconveniencing them.
When I finally got to eat my sandwich, it tasted like the inside of a nail salon. The pickles looked squished and questionable.
I hope this was just an off day for them but I am not pleased with this experience

DO NOT EAT HERE! I honestly don't even think this food was safe to eat. Someone needs to alert the health department.
We are missing 2 whole sides.
My Mac and cheese tasted like soap and the other Mac and cheese we received tasted like mold. The chicken tenders barely have any chicken and are dry and impossible to chew.
We didn't find this out until we got home (we also live 20 min away) and we called asking for a refund and the manager said that in order to get a refund, we'd have to drive all the way back. They did not care that this would take us 40+ min round trip during a storm. Their only response was that they were sorry we didn't like the taste of the food and that they had not gotten any other complaints that day. Looking over the reviews, I doubt that.
I've worked in a restaurant before and that is insane. I've always been able to refund and order by pulling up the ticket info. We have not had this problem at a chicken express before.
Gave my order to the wrong GrubHub driver and then refused to remake it.
Was not kind to the poor GrubHub driver who was actually the one who was supposed to pick up my order.
I'm honestly not pleased with my experience and I haven't even been able to get an appointment.
My partner and I got a Groupon to get a couples massage as we're both exhausted from work.
When I called to book the appointment (as per the Groupon) we were advised that we were not able to use a Groupon on weekends at all or after 5 on weekdays. So.... We pretty much would never be able to get an appointment to use this groupon. We both work until 5. This information is nowhere in the Groupon.
I called back and requested that that the Groupon be honored since it was falsely advertised and I got a no.
Groupon will only provide a voucher as opposed to a refund. So unless we are able to find something else with Groupon to spend it on, we are out about $150
Im sure it's not the receptionists fault but this is some very poor service and it makes me question if I would want to use this company's services in the future due to the dishonesty.
My tip: if you're going to get a service here, don't bother with a Groupon. It costs the same without Groupon anyways.

Yes. We've already had this conversation on the phone. My issue is that it was not disclosed on the Groupon that the Groupon could only be used before 5 on weekdays.
So we buy a Groupon not having any knowledge of this and then find out that we are not able to use it since we both work and are not able to make an appointment before 5 (like most couples with jobs).
And then, knowing this (which, y'all were clearly aware this was an issue long before I bought this groupon, as per our phone call), you refused to honor the Groupon even though it was knowingly misrepresented.
And your response was "well if I honor it for you, I'd have to honor it for everyone else". Um, yeah. As you should when your company misrepresents something. It's called being accountable.
If you had read my review, you would have seen that I have already contacted Groupon. They will not refund. They will only provide us with a credit that we can use later so if we are not able to find something else to use it on, we are just out that money. I include this information to convey part of the impact of your dishonesty.
I will not be calling. My experience with y'all has already been a huge pain in the A and there is nothing left to be said. You've already shown yourselves as dishonest.

We have 3 tiers available for booking appointments at our location.
* Tier 1 is for our discounted coupons, promo codes and discount vouchers. This tier excludes premium times.
* Tier 2 is for first time guests not using discounted vouchers. This tier includes premium times.
* Tier 3 is for our Lifestyle Program Members only with exclusive benefits. This tier includes premium times with no restrictions
I hope it is understandable that we have premium times reserved for members since these are at a higher demand and rate than other times. Our hours of operation does not imply availability, that is why we state that an appointment is necessary. The Groupon voucher is a great deal and includes a free add-on which is not like any other offer we have in retreat. It is incorrect to say it costs the same as tier 2 - the add on is not included free of charge.
