Bikini Espresso

I was reading in our The Daily Breeze about this new coffee shop that took over the small little Fox Hollow Coffee shop located on Hawthorne near 190th across from Mc Donalds. It's hard to find unless one of the girls is out there in her bikini with a sign.

Well I thought good for them why not and stopped in today. I did not go through the drive through so I could check in the inside which is very small but there is a table outside.

Anyways the coffee is good the prices are comparable to other coffee shops. Go check it out.

Wow This is a great place because it's artistic it's more of a surf girl motive it's not overly sexual. It's fun and family oriented with cute people working there were super friendly and super pretty and the coffee is great and on the outside of the building is a very famous graffiti artist who made a pinup girl in a coffee cup, which is really cute. It's almost like Betty Boop or Bettie page style. It's sexy and pretty and it emphasizes the beauty of women and the great taste of coffee, bravo five stars stars

Wish I could give a no star. I'm personally not that crazy about the sanitation issues surrounding virtually naked girls serving me up my morning coffee. Hope no one has dry skin and that everyone has had a proper waxing ughh! Geesh hope there aren't any g-strings suits being worn.

Why comment on service or quality when their main selling point is "Come in and leer at semi-naked young girls". I could be wrong though, maybe they are an equal opportunity employer that will hire anyone who wants to serve coffee in a bikini. I seriously doubt it though.

This 2009, women should be appreciated for more than their ability to walk around in public half naked.

Coffee houses should work on promoting their products and leave the degradation of women to the strip clubs. No amount of community service could make up for that.

along torrance...noticing small coffee shack...bikini expresso?...one on the news?....drive thru o' indoor orders...indoor counter for better viewing!...no menu inside!....running back out to take a look at large outdoor menu sign....white chocolate mocha $four.thirty...non-fat latte $three.forty-five...non-fat mocha $three.sixty-five...three large drinks and $twelve.forty-five total after $one.zero-five tax....slight higher than starbucks pricing...

orders given...waiting for drinks and noticing some fumbling...girls looking a little confused...asking and double checking orders...slow to making drinks...any barista training?....pair of bikini clad girls speaking with thick accents...russian bikini girls!...russian?...interesting...in the end...sub-par drinks luke warm...and a lengthy wait....

Ugh, after reading the review about the unsanitary conditions, I will not be coming back. I stopped by out of convenience since it's on my way to work. The girl was not particularly quick making my coffee, and they were out of most of the sugar-free flavors. Plus, when paying with my card, she asked if I wanted to add tip. It's already 3 bucks for a tall, and she hadn't even made it yet!

The worst part of it was that my coffee was so hot that I was unable to drink it the entire ride to work- and that's 25 minutes!

I went by this place two days ago and noticed they were closed at 5:30 pm. Either the baristas were out for another "family emergency" or this place actually went out of business.

Then I noticed the sign that read "Relocating to a business-friendly town!"

Later, I stumbled across an article in the Daily Breeze saying that Bikini Espresso finally shut its doors. In the article, the owner Gary said, "I'm kind of done with Torrance. Torrance sucks."

Actually, Gary... Torrance is a business-friendly town. They just don't put up with a lot of the trash that sleazy businesses bring to the area. This is why Torrance is a desirable place. They don't allow businesses to come in and do whatever they want.

It's not the city's fault. It's your own fault. Ask any small business owner in Torrance. None of them would want to move to Redondo Beach like you're thinking of doing.

I drove by once last week, waited about a minute and a half for someone to come to the window, then left when no one did.

Drove by this morning, and it was closed.

Problems?

Whereas I did like the Beach Blonde, it's not much different than the other caramel drinks.
The girls are really nice, but some of them make the same drinks and just say it's whatever you asked for.
There's also really no protection for the girls if they're working by themselves, unless you count the counter between them and the customer.
He doesn't pay his girls for their training, or in a timely fashion, even if they've completed paperwork (if you get the paperwork at all)
It's probably best not to order the hot dogs (one time they were green)
Just go to Starbucks or to another coffee shop. It might be a slightly higher price or maybe not as great coffee to you, but at least it's more professional and they're stuff isn't disgusting

Looking for a different kind of coffee shop? Check out Bikini Espresso. It's a cross between Starbucks and Hooters! Now I can drive-thru order and order a "French Kiss Mocha" or "Beach Blonde" from a bikini barista. Yes, you heard me right..I said BIKINI BARISTA! I hope they have "theme days" soon.

Glad they brought this to closer to home.
