We have been seeing Dr Schultze and Dr Kendall since 2010 when we moved here from Colorado.
We have dogs and cats and they have been great over the past 6 years.
Staff and techs always very friendly and sincerely caring.
Unfortunately recently that changed with the addition to their staff of Dr Duel.
Our 17 year old cat Snowflake fell ill suddenly. We brought her in and met Dr Duel for the first time.I kept an open mind but soon realized that the Doctors disposition was not exactly cheery.
Snowflake was given fluids as she was dehydrated with the intent that the next morning blood tests would be done.Initially Dr Duel thought it was kidney failure and already was less than optimistic with a somewhat insensitive approach.Thinking of our little cats welfare I immediately thought how I didn't want her to suffer but was so sad and wanted her to be at home if she was to die.Which was the initial diagnostic impression I got.Dr Duel said if we bring her home she would starve to death.Admonishing tone while leaving me feeling judged. No empathy and insensitive. As if we were not caring or as smart as she.Next morning she called my wife and used the same insensitive tone.
I talked to Dr Kendall as we were understandably upset. We were all sad and my daughter was crying.Dr Kendall took over and properly diagnosed our cat has diabetes. He was very optimistic and treated her overnight. Snowflake improved and we brought her home. She had an episode over night and her blood sugar dropped. She had not eaten enough.I gave her honey to help her and Dr Kendall had me bring her in as she was very lethargic. He brought her back and we got foods in her.Not knowing about cat diabetes I misunderstood how much to feed her.We did not stop her from eatin but didn't know we needed to feed her more than we did.
Dr Kendall clarified that to us.
After that visit as I left I wanted to make sure I understood and went back to the back to ask Dr Kendall but since he was busy I decided to be nice and ask Dr Duel if I should let Snowflake eat as much as she wants because I didn't want to make mistakes.Instead of just saying yes and smiling she basically scowled and said "Of course ! We don't want her sugar to drop again!" Another admonishment as if I was stupid. We have had animals our whole lives.Rescues etc... My wife is a smart kind lady and I am a not so dumb old guy.We are always greeting people with a smile. This just was an unfortunate unusual experience. Salado Vet is overall a great place. Thank you!

Will never go to a business flying a confederate flag.
The insensitivity to how this makes people feel is an obvious stubborn act to claim this racist symbol is about heritage.
      Offensive and backward looking.

Tom is excellent, sincere and very helpful. He was out of town but responded immediately regardless. Dedicated to his business therefore dedicated to his customers.
I am not a big fan of reviewing and this online playground of confusion but I think Tom is worth the effort.
Great experience from beginning to end.
      Delivery guys were also great.
Tom is a genuine person and I never felt I was being "sold" something.
Nice desk and nice bed. Great price as well.
      My daughter is very happy.

Best hospital and care I have had ever.
Im a 57 year old Canadian from a country that has excellent health care inspite of what agenda driven politicians say.I have had heart problems for 13 years now.
We lived in Colorado prior to moving to Texas 5 years ago.I have had 4 heart attacks here.My first three I went to Scott and White in Temple. My issues there were understaffing and too many interns etc coming in to ask me the same thing over and over so it was time for a change.Dr Steve Lewitton has been the best cardiologist I know.St Davids hospital is friendly professional and very focused on the patient and best solutions.St David focuses on the patient and not the doctrine established by pompous bureaucrats like the other hospital I have been to.
So St David is excellent as they addressed and found the problem that eluded past doctors through indifference and an attitude of get them in get them out.
St Davids never felt like that. They truly care.

I used to be a customer and liked them until the last two experiences.
Last year a table that took 3 months to deliver.Meanwhile while they lied back and forth about the status of delivery.
Just this weekend I was accepted for credit and bought my daughter a sofa tv stand a recliner and a rug. They said delivery would be on Feb 6.
      I said Ok I guess.
I then thought I would drive an hour and a half to their warehouse to pick it up earlier.
Ok...No problem. Then I get a call saying delivery was actually scheduled for Feb 14th.
WOW! Also that I could only pick it up on the 13th because it wasnt even in their warehouse yet.
      Must be a tiny warehouse.
So fed up I called to cancel everything.
The manager Theresa after I justifiably was upset and complaining went into adverserial legalese mode.
My "private" conversation with her was immediately put on speaker phone so she could build her defensive offense.
      Nice right?
      Very professional and self serving.
So of course Im the bad guy for being perturbed about the shoddy service and lies.
They ring bells when you get credit and celebrate their new customer but they sure know how to sweep the unhappy customers under the rug.
So Thanks a bunch Ashley! Thanks Theresa! Great job!
      Keep pretending.
If there was a subzero rating. If only!
