      4.5/5 is more like it!

This place is great. I'm so glad I got the chance to try it finally! 8 of us came for my birthday celebration on Saturday after a tasting at the bar. The restaurant (and winery!) is beautiful. It's upscale southern charm meets rustic farmhouse. The table was beautifully decorated, and the view of the lake/property is wonderful. There's also outdoor seating which looked super cozy, as well.

Service - phenomenal! Our waitress was so sweet and attentive. The food took a little while but honestly it went by quickly as we were having a great time, and I think there's only 2 chefs maybe.

Food! - we ordered a ton of stuff so here we go.
      -Meatballs: 10/10. Must try!
-Chicken Pesto Flatbread: 7/10. Flavorful, cheesy, a nice app. The chicken could have used more seasoning.
-Crab dip: 9/10. So good! It's very flavorful. Could use a bit more crab but the seasoning is on point. Ask for soft bread!
-Calamari: 8/10. It's really unique and tasty! I've never had calamari like this. The sauce is outstanding.
-Greek Chicken Salad: 9/10. Great flavors!
-Eggplant Rollatini: 8/10. Crispy and yummy!
-Shrimp Parmesan: 8/10. Unique and unexpected. A huge portion!
-Apricot Pork Ribeye: 9/10. Great cut of meat. Delicious sauce.
-Butternut Squash Ravioli: 6/10. A little sweet.
-Scallops & Risotto: 10/10. Bomb!! That bacon jam is out of this world. It's just the perfect hint of sweet with the creamy risotto and tender scallops. Star of the show!

I really enjoyed my experience here and can't wait to come back! You've got to dine here and grab a nice glass of JOLO wine while you're at it!

Finally had the opportunity to try a sandwich from The Bodega! It's no doubt a great, tasty, hearty sandwich but I have few notes, some of which are totally preference! Let's hit on some categories:

Location - convenient in downtown. Parking is a pain but there's a deck right across the way and it's relatively easy to get in and out of. Be on the lookout for the shop, or you might miss it. It's on the very end of its building.

Price - this might be its biggest downfall. It's a little pricey, particularly compared to other sandwich shops. But its location and size of sandwich allows it to be a little more pricey. The sandwich itself was $15 or $16, and with chips/tip it was about $20 (no drink).

Sandwich options - tons! Truly something for everyone and it's hard to narrow it down. They're cold only, though, so if you like a hot sandwich this might not be the place for you!

Sandwich - delicious! I ordered the Gucci Belt (basically their italian). I love the mayo on it compared to other delis that might not put mayo on theirs. The meat was flavorful and plentiful. I thought the lettuce could have been fresher. The flavors marry well, and it's a good bite. It's also a big sandwich! You could easily get two meals out of this.

Side options - mainly chips and snacks around the bodega. I did spy some potato salad and chicken salad options that looked yummy!

Service - quick! I was in and out. The lady that took my order was friendly.

Patio - so cute out there! Love the flowers and coziness of the area. A great place to have lunch on a nice day.

Overall, I'll be back to try some more sandwiches. It's a must try, I think, since it's a GSO staple. I may have other favorite Italian sandwiches in town, but like I said I will be back to try some other options!

Cute little cafe in downtown! I walked here from my hotel after reading about this Lemon Aioli and Rosemary-Lemon Sausage, I knew I had to have it. I placed my order online and headed over. It's super cute and isn't incredibly busy in the area where it's located. It also has its own parking lot which is a plus!

My order was ready as soon as I arrived. I ordered the Rosemary Breakfast Sammich. Yum! Totally unique and unlike any breakfast sandwich I've had. Super flavorful, and the marriage of the flavors betwixt the fresh baked croissant bun. Chef's kiss! I also ordered a regular drip coffee. It was tasty! The cafe itself is adorable and cozy, but bright and happy. I also really loved reading about (and supporting!) their mission.

Swing by here while you're in the area and have one of their elevated breakfast staples. You won't be disappointed!

I'm in love with this rooftop bar! It's absolutely gorgeous up here and the vibes are on point. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and invited. The views of downtown Columbus are phenomenal. The bartenders are very talented and the drinks are unique and tasty. I started with The Butter Cow. One of, if not THE most, unique drinks I've had. Next, I got the Jets to Brazil. Also unique but more beachy than the first. For something to nosh on, I landed on the Spicy Tuna. Oh my stars it is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Simple but spicy and filling, totally hit the spot! You've got to check out SOH, take a gander at the city and you'll feel like you're on top of the world!

This place is really good! Exactly what I wanted. It's casual, quick, and delicious! The chicken is really flavorful and the fries are wonderful! I ordered the sliders, heat index warm spice, and a side of ranch which I poured over top the chicken. The ranch is homemade and so yum! The chicken spice was plenty for me, especially with the hot honey, but if you like a lot of spice I'd go a level or so up. It's a little pricey for what it is but you do get a lot of fries (they're a separate cost) and the sliders are a good size. My order came out really quickly. I think I spent $20 after all was said and done.

It's located on the SECOND floor of North Market (my first time here so I wasn't sure). It has its own space with tables and chairs, unlike many of the other places in the market. I walked to the market but didn't notice any direct parking specifically for the market itself, so keep that in mind (there may be a garage nearby). Definitely give this place a shot!
