Priority Moving Services

Reasonably priced services with a few caveats.

We hired Priority Moving Services in Summer this year for our move. The job was to to move a 4bhk apartment to a 4 bhk home with a moving distance of less than 3 miles.

Good:
Mike was very communicative and helped us quite a bit in getting ready for the move.

Our movers were - Sam, Robert, Fernando and Logan. Sam brought in Logan to help with the move free of cost, to save us on the hourly expenses. All of them were friendly, helpful, hardworking and willing to do the needful to get our stuff moved with speed. They helped us move approximately 17+ furniture items, kitchen ware boxes, multiple wardrobe boxes etc. Nearly 90% of our furniture were moved with care and survived the move without any major damage, nicks, scratches etc. No broken glassware or damage to any kitchenware, appliances.

Bad:
Some of the furniture packing wasn't adequate and our master bed side frame panels have been substantially damaged in the move. I had expected, they would cling wrap every part of the bed to save it from getting damaged. But they skipped packing the side frames and hence both side frames have been damaged significantly. (Pictures attached).

Also, while furniture dismantling and assembly is not strictly part of their job, they are willing to do it if you need it, and can help them with it. Some parts of our media cabinet and the sectional couch went missing during the move, and I had to order spares for those later. A good way to avoid it, is to dismantle your furniture before the move if possible and secure the parts in labeled bags.

Since they are working on the clock, at times, they can be in a hurry to dismantle/assemble furniture and that might cause minor damage to the furniture (happened in our case), and improper assembly (One of the movers left the couch assembled incorrectly, however, he fixed it after I pointed it out).

Summary - they provide decent service at a reasonable price, but furniture handling could be a bit better (I will have to purchase a new bed due to the damage incurred during the move). If they can improve that aspect of their moving services, that would be great.

The movers were Jose, Victor, and Mauricio and they were always professional, courteous, friendly, and very polite! They were extremely careful with my belongings.

I was in the USAF for 20 years and moved several times after I retired and Priority Moving Services was the best by far. I was shocked at how reasonable the bill was and then to get a 10% discount for paying cash, WOW!

If you need a mover, look no further then Priority Moving Services.

This was our first time hiring Priority Moving, and I am glad we did. It was the most positive moving experience I've ever had. They protected all our furniture really well and listened to every direction I gave on where to place items in the new house. Previous movers I've worked with just bulldoze past me and set things where they want, not stopping to listen at all.

We were moving between two 3-bedroom houses, each with 2 stories, and it took around 8 hours. It took longer than other moves I've had, but it's clear they prioritize caring for your belongings and doing things right over going as fast as possible.

The only hiccups we had were not being able to fit the last few items on the truck (at least not safely), and we lost a plastic foot to our bed frame. I woud recommend them to anyone looking for careful movers. Someone looking for the fastest and cheapest should look somewhere else. But the 10% discount for paying with cash was a really nice benefit!

There website is so easy to navigate and there videos on there was very informative for sure I will call them for my next move

Requested a 1Bed apartment move late on a Friday, to try and schedule early the next week. They replied efficiently and thoroughly, had helpful links for inventory and everything I would need within a couple hours of initial request.

The next day everything was done and scheduled for 8:30 on a Monday morning, extremely quick to finalize and $162.80 was very reasonable for me. My only (minor) complaint is that I wasn't aware of a 3hr minimum beforehand but I think that is my fault as well.

The guys themselves were very open about being delayed due to truck problems which worked out anyway, and everything was packaged very well and quickly. Had no problems moving or unpacking new stuff.

Very fair with time estimate and full cost breakdown. Will definitely re-book them when I move again!

I had a huge, 500lb cast iron tub that I needed carried up from the curb into my house, up two sets of concrete stairs outside.

After having another moving company come out the day-of and tell me they weren't able to move something of this weight up the stairs, I gave Priority Moving Services a call. Michael and the crew were able to get out to me that same day, and carried the tub up the stairs flawlessly and efficiently.

I'm incredibly impressed with the customer service and onsite service the team at Priority Moving Services provided to me in my time of urgent need. Both the customer communication and the labor provided are top-notch at this company, and I know where I'll be going anytime I need something heavy moved again.

I highly recommend this company. We had them move a storage unit chocked full of assorted furniture, clothing, kitchen and bathroom items. it was the equivalent of a two bedroom condo. Micheal and his team were super fast, super efficient and wasted zero time. They also were really careful with everything and nothing was hurt in the move. We plan on using them for any future moves. We have in story in our future! They were fantastic!

BE CAUTIOUS! I hired priority moving for a small 400sq foot move. Everything started fine, friendly communication from Michael he even said it'd be no problem rescheduling as my move date was tentative when I reserved. Fast forward to move date. The assigned movers had mechanical trouble. They arrived late. The loading of boxes and disassembly of an ikea bed frame and tiny sofa was incredibly slow. At the new apartment which was less than 5 miles away, again incredibly slow and not to mention the movers had trouble assembling the same basic IKEA bed frame. Michael eventually got involved via phone and to my surprise he was a totally different person, very hostile and angry simply because I pointed out the fact that the movers had gone over 50% of the estimated time. I understand it's an estimate but 50% longer. He tried to offer a shameful discount to avoid this honest review. I'm sorry but I'd rather save another person from having this terrible experience!!!

If you're checking around for movers, STOP HERE. These guys are awesome. the quality of services from these guys is second to none. They take the time to ask questions, talk with you and go the extra mile to make sure everything is done how you want it. They don't leave any stones unturned. They know their stuff and they go the extra mile to make sure you get more than your money's worth. Remember, the mover's rates are controlled by the State, but the quality of service these folks give, you get a lot more than your monies worth.
Seriously, moving is stressful enough, Priority Moving Services has the heart to relieve as much of that stress as possible.
Call them, you will not be sorry. They are GREAT!!!!!! Read other folks reviews, see if you don't agree.

Josh from Priority Moving Services stepped in on short notice and saved our move when another mover cancelled on us on the day of the move. The team Josh sent, lead by Sam, was simply outstanding: careful, communicative, thorough on wrapping furniture, great on the unpacking and very courteous. They worked in 98 degree heat as quickly as humanly possible. They treated our new home with utmost respect, navigated the stairwell like complete pros. They asked where each item should go and placed finiture perfectly. If you need your move done right, hire Priority Moving Services. They are outstanding!!! We are deeply thankful to you guys.
