Our 71 year old house had all original single pane windows. We bought it 10 years ago and knew we would eventually need to replace all windows on main floor as well as daylight basement. The 8-10 degree temperature differential from downstairs to upstairs was costing us a lot of money in heating & cooling. We got 3 estimates and interviewed all contractors. We elected to use Henderson & Daughters based on their incredible reviews, the details estimator Ken provided and the fact that they did not want any prepayment until all work was completed, particularly that It took close to 6 months for all windows to be custom made. We are SO SO glad we used them.

25 windows + 1 glass door were replaced including some huge sized fixed windows that required 3 installers to set. The work was done in less than original quoted time even though one of the 2 installers was not too reliable and was a no show after the 1st day. Thanks to Josh K, the lead on this project, who is a genius & a master/expert at replacing these windows, frames & doors, the work was completed ahead of schedule & with incredible attention to details.

As an architect, I am amazed as to Josh's level of expertise and professionalism ... at the end of each day everything was impeccably cleaned up (our cats hated the sound of his vacuum cleaner). We still don't know how he managed to finish this large project all on his own - Thank you Josh, you are absolutely awesome.

When we bought our new house, we'd considered re-painting the front door and replacing the hardware but ultimately decided to replace it completely with double doors. We had just finished a couple other large construction projects and were a little hesitant to take on another significant expense but when Wendy came for the initial consultation, she put us completely at ease. She was extremely knowledgeable and personable but in no way pushy. I felt like she truly had our best interests in mind and asked insightful questions that ultimately helped us make our decisions. We ended up not only replacing the front door with double doors, but also the door from the house to the garage (which they were able to change from an inswing to an outswing, greatly increasing the functionality of the laundry room), as well as and exterior door to the garage (where we decided to get keypad hardware). The installers were really efficient and extremely considerate--everything was spotless when they left! When we discovered a crack in 1 of the doors, the contact at the Service Dept got us quickly scheduled for a replacement and kept us apprised of the timeline. While our Henderson doors did not come painted, Wendy recommended a great painter that they work with often who did an excellent job and was extremely helpful with a concern that came up with the front door hardware since he has such close relationships at Henderson. We couldn't have asked for a better experience--everyone we dealt with at Henderson across multiple departments and even the recommended painter were so professional and great to work with. While the product is expensive, you can tell that they really care about quality and getting things perfect. So happy with our new doors!

I asked Steve King to come to our home and give us a bid to replace three or four windows that had lost their seal. Instead of quoting me full window replacement, like the other firm I asked to do the same, he suggested that I call another firm that replaces just the glass.

His unselfishness saved us a lot of money, and I really appreciate Steve's willingness to forgo taking the business and looking out for my best interest instead.

Excellent customer service from my first contact with Jalene to schedule our appointment with Chris, who thoroughly explained product options and benefits, offered design recommendations and patiently provided several estimates as I increased the scope of our project, to Jake for conducting detailed measurements, to Marli for scheduling our installation, to Marty for establishing an installation timeline for me, and last but certainly not least the excellent installation crew of Josh and Tony! Truly professional craftsmen who offered design suggestions that enhanced the finished appearance of our windows and doors! It took three days for the demolition and installation of 11 windows, a patio slider, and front entry door, including replacement of all MDF casings and trim with primed wood. At the end of each day the worksite was meticulously cleaned and materials properly stowed.

They were amazing! Great quote, installation time was earlier than expected, Josh installed 17 windows alone and in 2 days. Everything was cleaned and beautiful when he finished! Great job!!

Had all new windows installed while I was working and my wife was at home. After the install one of the installers said sorry we broke off a large part of your ceder siding, please tell your husband he'll have to fix that. I'm like WTF?

I had 12 foggy windows that were 22 years old I'd like them replaced so I contacted H&D Windows for a quote. The manager (or the owner?) Thea saw the picture I provided and asked me a couple of questions. Then he told me I should be able to get them replaced for free from the original vendor Milgard because I am the original homeowner. I called Milgard and found out what Thea told me was absolutely true. The fact that Thea only saw the handle of the window and was able to immediately tell which brand the window is was already amazing and unbelievable. The act he referred me to check with Milgard was really noble and impressive. First time in my life dealing with contractors, Thea is the only one that would push away the opportunity to make money for himself and point out the right direction to the customer instead. This tells a lot on this contractor's integrity and professionalism. Now all foggy windows have been replaced by Milgard for free, and Thea's noble advice saved me at least $5K. If this contractor can't be recommended with 5 stars, who else would deserve the stars? Thanks again Thea for your kindness and God bless you. I'll definitely call you for any future jobs!!

We had all of our windows and patio doors replaced. Love the Milgard windows. It was an expensive project but well worth it once they are in! No more grids and old failed windows gone. Henderson and Daughter's installer, Josh Kaiser was very professional and patient with my questions. I was impressed with the installation process, their cleanliness and attention to detail. I didn't feel like he rushed but worked hard.l even when his helper Kris failed to show up for a couple of days. Josh didn't complain just kept working and the job finished on time.

Our experience in working with Henderson and Daughter for our single window replacement was outstanding. The product (Milgard) exceeded our expectations. The communication and service from start to finish was top notch. Thank you to the entire team: Trudy, Marty, Marli, and installer, Scott.
