We come here often because my 8-year-old loves the chicken here. And to be honest, the food is actually delicious. The chicken is juicy and full of flavor. Unfortunately, quality control is non existent.

Three times our order was incorrect, missing chicken tenders or entire entrees. This last time, we ordered a cayenne ranch sandwich. It was great, except that the patty we were given was literally 3 inches long and a little over 2 inches wide. Basically this was a chicken patty made for Kristals or White Castle, but cost $7.

I'd like to see this place stay in business. For a place with such good food, the ratings sure are poor. Maybe if they cared a little more about their presentation and order accuracy, they'd be more successful.

3 inch chicken patty Big sad.

I have driven by this establishment many times without stopping in. That was until yesterday. Now I'm grieving all the lost years I could have spent eating at Sweet T's.

It's somewhat cafeteria style Southern deliciousness. My mother and I each got a plate, which we shared. The things we ordered (and loved) were the fried chicken, mashed potatoes with onion gravy (heaven), home style macaroni and cheese, squash casserole, creamed corn, peach cobbler, cornbread and sweet tea.

The creamed corn was my favorite, mostly because it tastes just like my grandmother's (RIP Nana).

I just can't stop thinking about this place. We've already made plans to come back on Monday with my sister and my husband.

Next time I want to try their hamburger steaks. We got there a half-hour before they closed and they had just run out.

I visited this cute little place twice before deciding to leave a review, once for lunch and once for a dinner. I'm kind of a big fan of Indian food, and in fact, I am the former Dutchess of Shalimar (perhaps the greatest Indian buffet in Indianapolis).

Here are the good and bad.

The service is good. Everyone is polite, and patient, and clearly working very hard to provide customers with good service. Some of the food is really good, too. The butter chicken is wonderful, as well as the samosas, and the dosa (curried potatoes in a crepe like wrapping), and the saffron rice. I also like that they serve kombucha, and wine by the glass or bottle, which is great for small gatherings.

Now the bad. Some of the food is extremely salty, so much so that I could not swallow it. The saag dishes are thick and runny, as opposed to creamy. The thali was a bit disappointing, although the presentation was pretty. And finally, the mango lassi is made with canned fruit cocktail, which I find completely unappetizing. The mango lassi I've had in the past has had fresh pineapple. This lassi was bland and I feel as though they used the canned syrup from the fruit cocktail to create it. Not my thing.

I also found issue with the fact that the wait staff do not receive tips added to a credit card. Yet, the machine will ask if you'd like to leave a tip. Assuming you do, the tip does not go to the employees. I tipped on my card before seeing a small note on the glass written by an employee. I asked for my tip back, but as I could not get it in cash, I was unable to tip our waiter and waitress. The next time I visited, several days later, I noticed the note was gone. I asked an employee if they received tips on cards now, and be said he didn't know.

The note read: "we do not receive credit card tips"

Overall, I'll be back because I did like the butter chicken and rice. And the samosas too. And if I can get at least that, I'll be happy. But I don't think I'd venture far off from these items, as the others are... strange.

Also I'll be paying with cash next time, somehow. It's 2021, and nobody uses cash anymore. Not giving your customer's credit card tips to your employees would not be cool at all.

Lunch thali. Some parts okay, others not so much.

We just moved here from Indiana and needed to find a vet for our two girls. For the last five years, we've been loyal patrons of the best veterinary hospital in Indianapolis. Needless to say, we have high standards when it comes to vet care.

From the outside, the office looks like a cozy house, with plants hanging on the front porch. Inside, it feels more like a 1990s school building, with the glossy concrete walls and posters and photographs all over. Handwritten letters end cards from grateful patients decorate the entire office.

It isn't fancy, but this office is great. The receptionist, Emily, made us feel welcomed and adored from the jump. We were seen quickly, with almost no wait time, and the doctor appeared within moments of us entering the exam room.

We're definitely hooked on Martinez Animal Clinic! Proud to call this place our new vet!

I ordered dinner for my family. Three burgers, fries and a hot dog. When I finished paying, they asked if I wanted my receipt, and I regrettably said "no".

So after I drove off I realized one of my burgers was missing entirely, and the other two, which had been ordered plain with cheese, came covered in ketchup/mayo/mustard/pickles/lettuce/onions. If you know young kids, they won't eat a burger with mustard and ketchup all over it.

When I returned to get the rest of my food that I had paid for, and to receive my correct items, they refused because I did not have my receipt. The lady at the window even remembered me and my order, but said I'd have to order it/pay for it all over it again.

Really upsetting, as we shouldn't have to pay another $25 to receive an order I'd already paid $25 for. We will not be back to this location.
