I got the vegan chorizo tacos and they were excellent. Very flavorful and a more interesting veggie option than many restaurants. They have a kids menu too. I also enjoyed the Pedal Fast IPA. The Painted Turtle cocktail flight was too sweet for my taste but still good. Outdoor seating on the main drag, good service - what more could you want?

Their only vegetarian option is giardiniera with cheese on a pita. The previous menu had several options but no more. No thanks.

They don't brew their own beer, but it's still worth a trip for the history, memorabilia, and view of the river.

An all ages craft brewery/restaurant in the downtown area? Sign me up! The first surprise of MashCraft was that it's definitely more brewery than restaurant. You won't be off in the uncool restaurant side if you come with kids. However, you won't be in your own area with kids so be prepared to keep kiddos reined in and well behaved around folks that might not appreciate that your kids like to make conversation with strangers. Just mine? Oh.

The second surprise? Dang, their flatbreads are amazing! It's a short menu but I don't know what magic they do to that crust. Worth going, even if you're only planning to eat but, ya know, don't because...

...their beer is awesome! This was not a surprise to me at all. However, their extensive beer list was. So many options on tap and so many styles, including some heavy hitters so watch the ABV when you order. Samplers are available so taste away. I honestly enjoyed every beer I tried. Growlers and howlers are also available for take away.

I checked out Punch Bowl on a weekend night with some friends. We intended to grab dinner and drinks and then enjoy some of the games and activities. We sat at a table and waited for our server. She took a while to come to our table and then provided one drink menu for our large group. The drinks were okay but took a long time to order and then arrive. Then our MIA server (finally) came to take our food order. During this long process, we asked for waters on at least three separate occasions. Water never arrived. My friend's meal order was never put in. The server never apologized and also seemingly never moved her order up because it still took another 15 minutes for my friend's food to arrive. Meanwhile, the rest of the table went from patiently waiting for my friend's food to picking at their meals which were getting cold to eating their meals and sharing them with our friend. On the upside, the food was good. However, it's hard to mess up anything drenched in mayo. The server was so bad we really wondered if she was on drugs. She was always looking far off into the distance when she said anything to us, and when she spoke at all it was minimal and barely audible. She disappeared for long periods of time throughout our drinks and meal. Luckily, we were in no hurry but wow.

So okay, the service was horrible but maybe the games... nope. All of the games, and I do mean all of them, from pinball to bowling, were fenced off for private parties. In summary, don't waste your time at Punch Bowl unless you are having a private party. Even then, proceed with caution.
