Creekside Community Property Owner's Assn hired Grapevine when their prior management co. would not violate Davis Stirling law for them. GPS has worsened our HOA problems; bullying owners, misstating the law, claiming that they 'win in court 100% to force payments. GPS falsely threatened me with a pre-litigation lien over a small fine, tried to charge interest on the fine and no law allows liens or interest on fines. GPS treats fines as assessments to avoid the law. GPS tried to sneak into an IDR meeting but I told them to exit. Our HOA faces $1500 to 2k in fines for GPS failure to provide documents within the statutory time limit. GPS uses one email address for members that does not permit return responses so communication is one way. GPS is responsible, in part, for possible litigation against our HOA. OWNERS SHOULD DEMAND NO GPS contracts. Boards love them; they break the law for the board.

The emergency staff at the hospital and the quality of care is unsurpassed, which is why I was shocked at the behavior of the nurse assigned to me on July 2nd. I was diagnosed with afib, a potential stroke risk. The hospital routinely inserts an IV in cases like mine, but I warned the nurse that I had a traumatic fear of IV insertions based on prior experiences. The nurse ignored my warnings, made two attempts to get a line into a vein and failed. It was so agonizing that I actually screamed. Without my consent, the nurse decided to bring in a tech to hold my arm immobile while the nurse made a third attempt. Not only did that attempt fail, my entire right forearm is blackened and bruised from the restraint. Now, it would be virtually impossible to insert a line without anesthesia. Short of clear medical crisis, I cannot support force against a terrified patient to insert an IV. Ignoring a patient's clear warning and discounting self-report of intolerance of a procedure is not good nursing practice. A blot on otherwise good medical care; our emergency staff can do better. The tech, Casey, tried to help with Lidocaine to no avail, brought me warm blankets and generally demonstrated care and concern. Thanks, Casey.

Dale came out and did a repair on my air conditioner on time, polite and experienced, and suggested how I can save $$ when it and the heater need replacement. How about a free lunch for him?

As a first time guest, on a rainly spring day, we found wonderful pasta and a good selection of wines. Will return!

Tony always is able to fix my laptop...and then explain what he has done and changes made so that I, a Luddite, can understand. Thanks.
