We throwing is like a more violent version of bowling. It was super fun awesomeness. I bookmarked this place the deck. I was aware it was in existence. My son loves any kind of weapon related activity.
Yesterday I had some time. Asked my son and his friend if they wanted to go throw axes. You would have thought they hit this lotto. Maybe they just wanted to get out of the house but they were pretty excited about it. I made a reservation online for 4:45. $20 per person for an hr. Not bad at all.
GPS take you right to the front of the building. You have to go around back.
Upon entering we were greeted by a few employees.
The interior is a small warehouse work 4- 2 lane throwing areas departed by fencing.
A large table is few feet behind each throwing area platform.
Additionally, there was adequate space for spectators, people waiting their turn... we were asked to complete waivers on our phones before proceeding.
One of the 3 guys we met on the way in took us around showed us all of the safety information, explained techniques, equipment,safety.....
Really nice guy. He adjusted stances and squared up shoulders and gave tips to my kids while they were throwing. As their skill set progressed he gave us new items to throw.
The facility was slow at the time we were there so we each got our own lane to throw in. We broke pieces here and there which would close a lane momentarily, but the guys really jumped up and got them fixed immediately. They identified the issues and took corrective action. We didn't even have time to report the issues.
The staff were super friendly nice guys.
They were exited by our good throws and were supportive and fun.
I would highly recommend this place. Especially last nights crew around 445.
Son got 2 axes thrown at once double sticks.
I got a handle to stick. They told me that was an absolute 1st. So I'm proud.
My sons friend broke almost the entire target... like it was hanging on by a thread and he hit it and it came crashing down. Super loud and hilarious to everyone.
      A really good time.
Go off peek to really enjoy what this place has to offer.

      Business lunch today at 11:30.
      Reservation for 10.
Approximately 5 mins after our initial check in we were seated and the remainder of our party arrived.
Our server came over promptly. She was friendly and attentive through our meal.
Our orders included, steak, salads, bisque, shrimp n grits a pasta dish, blackened catfish with red beans and rice and I went with the combo special.
Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. My special was pretty great.
It has a large piece of grilled catfish over dirty rice and shrimp jambalaya. What made my combo a special was a sauce that included several large shrimp and several oysters over the top of the fish.
The fish was perfectly grilled. The dirty rice was excellent. My oysters and shrimp were very good. The jambalaya was ok, not my fav. I've had much better.
There were also several large pieces of bay leaf throughout my dish. Noticed others with the same issue.
The building is large and open.
      The seating is plentiful.
The outdoor areas are really nice.
Prices are on the high side. It's around $15-20 per person minimum and it goes way up from there. Pricier for lunch in my book. Still a good way to try the place bc dinner prices are considerably higher.
The menu is pretty large. It's a Cajun seafood restaurant but the menu covers a bevy of other options which should cover most everyones pallet.
      I would go back.
      The entrance is tricky.
If hitting 280 from 459 you have to drive past the restaurant make a left at the light at the Marriott intersection drive that side road to the entrance or make a u turn at the light. Either way coming from the opposite side of 280 would be much easier.

I've come to Marks for years. It's been around since the 80s. That's way back in the 1900s kiddos. Mark was always a really nice guy. He actually hosted in store a free hunters certification course at his store.
The format now is much more open and inviting vs inventory stacked upon inventory pre- remodel (several years ago) when I frequented the store. I'm glad to see the store in such good condition and so busy.
Everyone we saw spoke to us. Everyone offered to help or show something.
Mark's has a large inventory but it's like going to a small town bait shop/ hunting store. Guys will tell you what bait to use where. They offer first hand expertise on weapons, ammo and apparel. Everyone is friendly and no one is shamed for inexperience or asking questions. That's what I always liked about Mark's. He cultivated an environment which allowed all people in all stages of development as a hunter or fisherman to come in feel welcome and get advise. I was comfortable with what I was being told and never made to feel weird for asking what may have been a rudimentary question.
      I'm a fan.
Sign up for mailers. They run some pretty good sales.
My coworker that had never been until today now sees what all the fuss is about surrounding this store.

Multigenerational family owned Greek/American cafeteria style restaurant.
      Solid meat and 3.
      Reasonably priced.
This current location/ format is much improved from when they originally moved here.
A coworker and I ventured over today.
I hadn't been in quite some time. The last time I came to this location. I was quite disappointed honesty.
A friend recommend giving it another shot and as my coworker and I find a seat she's sitting there with a group of her coworkers. This is a staple for her group and now I see why.
      Solid variety of options.
      Well prepared.
I went fried snapper, okra, mixed beans and jalapeño cornbread. This is what meat and three is supposed to be.
The fish was piping hot and fresh. A large filet. Good tarter sauce and a solid hot sauce on the table. The mixed beans were surprisingly really good. I couldn't name every bean that was in the dish but speckled butter beans, maybe some crowder peas, possibly Lima's... they were just good. The okra was fresh I could have gone crunchier but wasn't soggy.
      The jalapeño cornbread was excellent.
My coworker equally enjoyed his baked chicken with the same sides.
This is the best meat and 3 style restaurant in the area I'm aware of.

Bumper nets is one of the few remaining in mall arcades. This place reminds me of being a kid and going to Aladdin's Castle... I know some of you remember places like that!
My kids love messing around in one of the 3 different gaming areas this place now occupies.
There are pool tables, pinball machines, current and retro video games, air hockey...
There are several claw machines, some basketball, guitar hero but no ski ball or ticket dispensing games. Which is ok. I have far too many of the garbage prizes purchased with tickets won at arcades in and under the seats of my car.
My son likes to try and come by here whenever we come to the mall if only for a few games.
We usually get banished to the arcade when mom has bad enough of us distracting her shopping or when she's had enough complaints about the duration of the shopping trip.
Great spot to entertain kids while at the mall. Great for rainy days.
