I'll give it 4 stars. The food is not as good as Tarka, which is the most comparable place I can think of.
The food is decent, but definitely nothing you're going to get super excited about. It is really nice that they give you Naan as a side with your meal instead of charging you separately for it (like Tarka does), so that alone makes it a better value.
To keep this short, if you're looking for a ever so slightly better value than Tarka, and you want to shake things up a bit, this place will work just fine. Perfectly non-offensive and fairly reasonably priced. I'll take that.
I am not going to say a lot here, just that these people are great and you should use them. They are super understanding and nice. They are also a local company and it shows, in a good way. Definitely recommended!

Wow! This makes my day! Thank you for such a wonderful review of my small business. We love our job and work very hard to make sure the pets in our care (and their parents) are happy.
It’s heartwarming to hear we are accomplishing our goals.
There's a sign outside that says "Voted best burger in Austin! $3.99". There's absolutely a 0% chance that a burger that cost $3.99 is the best in Austin, but I felt compelled to try it.
As I assumed, this is no doubt nowhere near the best burger in town. Surprising result, I know. However, for less than $5 you get a 1/2 pound burger that isn't bad at all. It was cooked well done unfortunately, but was still decent. Add some tasty fries on to that for another $3 bucks, and you have a perfectly acceptable lunch or dinner for $8 freaking dollars. That's a damn good deal! Granted, it's not going to win any awards (except for the dubious one advertised outside apparently), but it's a decent food at a ridiculously low price.
So having said all that, this probably should be a 3 star review, but this place also has a damn solid draught beer selection. It's filled with delicious offerings from some great local breweries, as well as a few more obscure ones. They also have the usual Light options of course, because it's a sports bar.
Anyway... if you're looking to have a delicious cold beer and a cheap burger, this place will definitely do the trick.
Chef Choo is a super nice dude and these sandwiches are really delicious. Yeah, it's a little tricky to order and it can be a little confusing, but it is totally worth it. You want great food made by a super cool local chef? Then fumble your way through the ordering process and get some delicious sandos in your life.
A double patty burger and some fries is $18 here now. That is absurd. I can go to a steakhouse and get a far superior burger for that price. Bye bye 5 Guys.
Five Guys... what can you say? It's a big time chain that plasters "Zagat" crap all over the walls to tell you how freaking awesome they are. The problem is, it's not THAT awesome. It is good, no doubt... but not awesome.
Five Guys follows that In-N-Out Burger style of fresh hand formed burger patties and freshly cut french fries. The burgers are very large and very greasy. They are tasty for sure, but when competing with the best local joints in Austin they fall a bit short. There's just too much grease, and sometimes the meat gets a little crispiness on the outside that I do not care for. The fries are pretty good , but holy shitballs you better be hungry. They fill the bag that your food comes in about half way with fresh cut fries, and then add the actual cup full of fries on top of that. It's probably enough to feed a family of 3... Top Tip of the Day: Only order fries if you have another person or two to help you eat them. If you eat the whole order alone, you are going to feel like a glutton.
Five Guys is a place that serves pretty decent burgers and fries, but I have a hard time going there when there are tastier local places I can give my money to. If a friend or a co-worker wants to hit up Five Guys, I won't refuse to go, but I probably won't ever seek it out on my own, even though I used to eat there often when I lived in Pittsburgh (The food in Da' Burgh isn't very good). I'll drive the extra distance to Dan's or Top Notch instead.
Pros: Good Bang for Your Buck
Cons: Portions are Way Too Huge, Horrible Cheap-Feeling Atmosphere
