I rarely write a less than favorable review without giving a place a second chance, but I'm doing it here because my experience here was pretty annoying. We came on a weekend afternoon with games going on downtown so it was pretty busy. We sat down promptly by that was the only thing that went smoothly. Our server was completely disinterested in us and was pretty flat, but we're low maintenance, so no problem. We ordered our burgers and we waited...and waited...and waited. It took almost an hour to get our burgers and no one came to let us know. My burger came out sans cheese and when I pointed it out, she said it didn't come with cheese. She didn't realize that gruyere is cheese. Fine. They redid the burger, but it came out without the bacon added like I requested. It had been an hour, so I just ate half the burger and asked to speak with a manager, which I've done like twice in my life. I hate confrontation. We waited even longer for the manager. Here's where it all could have been resolved. I'm not unreasonable, I just want someone to apologize and be accountable. I heard 95 excuses (it's hard to see that kind of cheese...seriously, an invisible cheese excuse. Crazy how I could see it on the second one) and reasons why I don't know what I'm talking about. They ultimately comped my burger and offered a free appetizer for when we return.

I actually feel like two stars is generous here, but my bf liked his burger, so there's that. I think this place is probably just fine if nothing goes wrong, but if you have a problem, don't expect accountiblity or a real apology.

Love this place. Their cocktails are delicious, the food is good and they have good seating options for all kinds of weather. The service has always been good for me here and I just love the laid-back ambiance. I usually stick to beer and wine, but the cocktails here are tasty and hard to resist. It's the perfect place to catch up with a friend you haven't seen in a while or bring a large group of friends to celebrate something.

There are some other bars that are comparable in Midtown (Main St area) and the Heights, but they're always packed, it's hard to find a seat, and you have to wait a while for a drink. ATC is just as good and although it's not dead, you won't have all that competition for space.

This is my go to...well, burger joint. I've had it every which way. I've dined in, carried out, and ordered Doordash. This place has a great patio and is always packed on a nice day. The mushroom burger is my go to, but keep your eye on the burger of the month because they usually have some pretty good choices. Their fries are great, especially the sweet potato. I usually pass because the burger fills me all the way up, but they're definitely worth getting every now and then. Skip the fries if you're getting delivery. I live super close, but they're always soggy by the time I get them.

Similar to how I hate to go anywhere other than Seaside for poké, I hate going anywhere else for ramen. Add-ons are simple there (always extra garlic and the yuzu bomb) and the ramen is super tasty. They have different "bombs", basically flavorful balls of glory that you can order. They have recommendations about which ones well together, and the combo I like isn't a recommended combo. They make sure to tell me this every time, so don't let that scare you. Always get the yuzu bomb.

The only thing I don't love about this place is that you can't get takeout.

This is probably the most underwhelming meal kit I've tried. Nothing went wrong. Everything was included and the produce was super fresh. The problem I had was that the recipes were just so basic it didn't warrant coming in a meal kit. Two of the three meals were just kind of meh. Not bad, but definitely not great. And one recipe I tried, was downright gross. That's never happened to me before using a meal kit service. Anyway, the first box was discounted and I canceled promptly, so it was worth the $40 I paid for three meals, but if I'd paid full price I would have been upset. And even with the discount, I would never recommend this to anyone. There are just too many better options out there.
