"We were traveling from Texas to our home on I 10 and tired of fast food. Searching the area and checking out other reviews we chose Summers Smokehouse. We were not disappointed in the food or service. My husband had a plate of brisket w/ 2 sides and my meal was a pulled chicken sandwich w/ 2 sides. The potato salad was so tasty my husband would have liked to take home a 5 lb bucket but with his leftover brisket, a sandwich tomorrow. In Florida there can be some chilly days and there was a fire in the fireplace. The tables and floors were clean and we made the right choice to eat there."
