I really like Travelers. I think their customer service is top notch and the rates are so so so reasonable! I wish this insurance was offered in every state!

I can't find the location for Northern California- Nevada Claims center (HQ in Dallas TX?) so this will have to do.
Kyle McEathron is the most laziest, unhelpful, uninformative adjuster! Request a new person when you hear this name.
I had to constantly call him to ask for updates and figure out what to do; essentially I am doing his work!
I was hit by an uninsured motorist. Kyle, my own insurance adjuster was not on my side. He would always state what the company policy was and didn't even try to reach out to the at fault's insurance. It was ME that sat through their long phone call to get a claim number, and I REPORTED that to KYLE. He did nothing at all. Side note, if you ever have the other side with the insurance "Anchor General Insurance," these people are a scam and make sure you get a lawyer!
He also wasn't able to obtain the coverage of denial from the at fault insurance because he didn't bother to do work at all. It was through my attorney's firm that was able to obtain it and they gave it to lazy Kyle.
1) During the time my car was in the shop, Travelers was so STINGY with getting an OEM part that was just $50 difference than the aftermarket. They are only "obligated" to repair it back to operating condition. It's just $50 you cheapskate of an insurance.
2) It was funny how I did all the work that Kyle is supposed to do. Give me his paycheck then.
3) If you even have to open up a claim when it is the other person's fault, just talk to a lawyer no matter what! Travelers will low ball you.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Joe C.Diamond Bar, CA1183531Feb 1, 2024
Kelsey Dugan is my claims adjuster... Shes a "claims professional." She handled the claim dilligently in the beginning, admitted fault, said they would pay but it quickly went downhill after that. They want you to go to one of their shops to have the work done even though state law allows you to go anywhere. They refuse to take my preferred shops bid even though its completely competitive. They want you to download a specific app on your phone to allow them access to your device so they can virtually estimate the damages. That doesnt really work as usually body shops have to actually touch the vehicle to see all the damage and estimate it properly. This was after she asked for pictures and I uploaded them to the claim over the phone and website numerous times. They already have the pictures. But continue to waste customers time -
Were partway through this process. Between taking multiple days to answer texts (or not answering at all,) to returning phone calls (she rarely does,) to returning emails (she always does, but takes her time,) I would suggest not using travelers insurance for anything. Will update this review as this progresses. I expect the problems and pushback to continue. AVOID.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - People C.San Francisco, CA01Apr 9, 2024
I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction and frustration with the handling of my homeowner's insurance claim by Traveler's Insurance. Despite the clear terms of my policy and the extensive documentation provided regarding the damage incurred due to a burst pipe during the winter, Traveler's Insurance has consistently failed to honor their obligations and provide timely resolution.
Approximately three months ago, my property sustained significant damage as a result of a burst pipe. Understanding the importance of promptly filing a claim, I reached out to Traveler's Insurance immediately to initiate the process. However, instead of receiving the support and assistance I expected from my insurance provider during this distressing time, I have been met with obstruction, delay tactics, and an outright refusal to address the damages adequately.
One of the most concerning issues has been Traveler's Insurance's persistent demand for multiple bids for repair work, despite the fact that I am well within my rights, as per state law, to select the vendor of my choice. This has needlessly prolonged the claims process, causing further inconvenience and distress. Despite providing a comprehensive bid from a reputable contractor, Traveler's Insurance has arbitrarily rejected it, citing reasons that lack transparency and appear to be aimed at minimizing their financial obligation rather than fulfilling their contractual commitments to me, their policyholder.
Furthermore, the lack of communication and transparency throughout this ordeal has been deeply disappointing. Despite numerous attempts to seek clarification and resolution, I have been met with evasive responses and bureaucratic runarounds, leaving me feeling abandoned and unsupported by my insurance provider when I needed them the most.
Moreover, I am deeply troubled by the frequent changing of adjusters assigned to my claim and the continual shuffling of my complaint from desk to desk within your organization. This constant turnover not only adds to the confusion and frustration but also serves to further delay the resolution of my claim. It has now been 87 days since the claim was reported, and yet there seems to be no end in sight to this ordeal.
It is imperative that Traveler's Insurance takes immediate action to rectify this situation and honor the terms of my policy. I demand a fair and expeditious resolution to my claim, including the approval of the proposed repair work by the contractor of my choice. Additionally, I expect clear and timely communication regarding the progress of my claim and any further steps required.
Failure to address these concerns in a satisfactory manner will leave me with no choice but to explore all available avenues to seek justice, including lodging complaints with relevant regulatory bodies and seeking legal recourse.
I trust that Traveler's Insurance will recognize the seriousness of this matter and take the necessary steps to resolve it promptly. I look forward to your prompt response and a swift resolution to this unfortunate situation.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ron R.Novato, CA01Mar 29, 2024
My family and I had building insurance with Travelers insurance for over 20 years without any claims. For some reason, travelers said our agent was no longer with them and would not renew our policy. We got a new agent who was a Travelers insurer and told them we wanted to renew the insurance before it expired. They told him and me that our building did not meet their requirements even though we did upgrades. Took our money all those years. Now they don't need us. No loyalty here. Did say they we could get one of their out of State (we are in California) subsidies which are not covered by California insurance laws which results in much higher premiums without the security of being fully covered. IS THAT ANY WAY TO TREAT A LONG TIME LOYAL CUSTOMER?

TRAVELERS Auto Insurance Customer Service is irresponsible, arrogant ,not accountable .
Deleted coverage without notice, over charged when reinstating.
Attempted to notify management but has FIREWALL in place.
Not a good experience.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kris G.Southside, Fort Worth, TX01Mar 29, 2024
They're no different than most other insurance companies. They'll gladly take your money but when you need them they find a reason to avoid doing their part.

Travelers Insurance is the worst insurance company I have ever had. When you call in to their customer service number to get help with their stupid app that doesn't even work properly they tell you to call your insurance agent which couldn't help me either! The app doesn't even work properly and their customer service is NON existent. I will be changing providers in June when my 6 policy is up.

I recently had water damage in a bedroom after a storm. When I described the damage on the phone to the Travelers adjuster, he said I was covered, then failed to show up for an appointment, later sent a Servpro rep to look at the damage, then came himself and denied the claim. Servpro sent me a bill for the visit.
