The Castle Sports Bar and Grill

Ahhhhh one of my old watering holes. I come back after living overseas for twenty years and the girls have not aged a bit. How do they do it?!? It is like magic! Bar is decent, atmosphere is friendly. Locals and regulars don't mind new faces. Food is bar food, nothing great. Drinks are stiff, nothing fancy and will get the job done. Oh and prices are reasonable. It's cash only but plenty of atms around the area. Pool table and jukebox for entertainment.

0 stars - but forced to pick one. Disgusting staff. Disgusting place. It's trashy and cheap and dirty. The girls are dressed like they're at a strip club. Not a dive bar.

Great all around bar & grill all there food is good and not pricey the drinks as well with friendly people & service

Giving this place five stars just for my mid day walk through...

... I have been working at a location next to here a couple of weeks, and I am regularly amazed at the clientele that walk in and out of this establishment. Never in my wildest dreams, would I imagine that there was someone behind the bar with model like features, serving the patrons who were an interesting cast of characters.

If you would like to witness a Who's Who of weird looking motherfuckers in Manhattan Beach, stop at the castle. Oh and they're open at 6am for some reason.

Who knew there was a place like this in Manhattan Beach, open at 7:00am to watch the EPL

Cash only establishment. put me on edge. Used the overpriced ATM as I was on travel for work and just wanted a simple cocktail before heading to bed at my close by hotel. Got shitty attitude from staff. Went sideways from there... if you aren't local don't bother....

The customer service at this bar is atrocious. This place really does deserve negative stars. The bartender checked my id and everything was going fine. Midway through she starts demanding me to buy her a shot. I decline and she gets fed up. So she rips my drinks out of my hands and snatched my cash off of the counter. What a fucking joke.

Bar owner! You need to get rid of this Rory bartender.... She goes off on us because we apparently looked at her the wrong way and says "you all can leave if you don't like it" we tried to calm her down an apologies for whatever we did and she gets crazier.. come here if you want to be berated.. this girl is crazy.. half the bar leaves because of her craziness.. bar owner.. you're losing customers and you don't even know it.. she even says " I don't even give a fuck if you post this shit"..the regulars even came out to apologize.. zero stars..

I've been a local my whole life it took a friend at work to pick a place that we're going visit regularly on Friday after work for a couple beers.
This was my fist visit and I am hooked cold beer being served by a beautiful young lady with probably the best attitude I've ever experienced at a local bar 10+++
The Castle is reasonable the bar food was well bar food and remember it's a cash only establishment.
Give your eyes a couple minutes to adjust to the low light and enjoy a relaxing spot to have a beer.

Good vibes, fun locals, cheap beers. Bartender Jody was friendly and funny. Chill little place (Note: visited in middle of day)
