I've only been once, but definitely worth a stop for a drink or food if you are in Washington DC.

Wild Beaver Saloon
Category: Bars
Neighborhood: Indy Metro
Everything at the Wild Beaver is average at best. The entire place/atmosphere feels to contrived or fake. Though there is nothing horribly wrong with the place, there are too many other places with Broad Ripple with much more character. Overall, a themed/cliche/corporate bar do not belong in the Ripple. What's next, another Applebees or a Rusty Bucket?
Jakes is a great place to grab a drink & food. There are enough TVs to enjoy any game that may be on, the menu is top notch (tapas), & the bartenders will pour a heavy drink (ask for a double to really get your money's worth). The staff is super friendly & will make sure you have whatever you need.
Though I am only able to rate the Loon once, the place really is two different bars. During the weekdays or daytime hours, this place is the best. Stong pours & good food. During the weekends, this place is a disaster, long line, loud music, standing room only, & dare I say a ahole or dbag crowd??? There is no reason a place like the Loon should have a line. The ages of the patrons as you can guess varies from older to younger during this daytime/nighttime transformation. Bottom line, a great place to get a sttiff drink, but has become a too trendy.

Frankie's Sports Bar and Grill

Frankies is a good spot to catch the game, but the food is only average & the place can get super crowded.
One of the best bars in the Dallas area. Good drinks, food, patrons, & staff. Everyone in the place knows how to drink & have a good time.
As most other reviewers have said, the rooftop is the best part about Hennesseys, it gets 5 stars. The rest of the place though is a little overrated. The appetizers are good, but expensive and the drinks aren't as strong as I would have liked. Worth stoppibg by for a late afternoon beer.

A dive bar if there ever was one. Good food & drink, plenty of room, TVs, &, good bands, just about anything you could want.

Great food, drinks, patrons, & staff. The pizza alone is worth the trip. Additionally, this place is not only about the same, by best from about lunch time til closing. Enough TVs to make sure you don't miss the game. It is smokey, but it's tough to find a good (neighborhood) bar that isn't.

Monkey's Tale

There are really two "tales"....the one that exists before 11pm & the one that takes over as it gets later. Both are good, but the late one gets the 5 stars. Though I've been here too many times to count, I've never ate here, but I can always get a stiff drink & have a great time with friends. You know you had a good time when you frequently have to take a cab back to the Tale to retrieve your car & credit card.

d has no friends.
