Been coming here for several years! Always the friendliest baristas. It's a lot bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. It's great for studying or working on something because they have several tables on one side... many near outlets. It's usually not busy when I come here and the tables in the back especially are open for people who want to be productive.
I sat on the patio today and the weather was really nice. They have a lot of tables outside.
Downside: It's cold here... Bring a jacket! Even in the summer.
So... coffee date and then go on a shopping spree at the mall.
This is a good way of meeting up with someone at a Starbucks near the Mall of Georgia but being able to avoid the huge crowds at the mall.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 21608164624Jul 31, 2015
Pretty friendly staff and comfortable inside area. Have been coming here since it first opened and there is an actual associate I think has been here since the beginning at this store! Great staff and comfortable inside. The long walk area to the bathroom is lined with tables which make for a great work spot and the outside seating is nice as well. While I am not the biggest fan of Starbucks coffee it is still a good substitute for Dunkin and this location is a winner.

I'm not much of a coffee drinker so take this for what it's worth. I had a mango smoothie. It wasn't bad, but for what you get the price is pretty steep.
The only reason I go to Starbucks is that it's generally a decent meeting spot. Other than that, I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. But hey... a lot of ppl love this place.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Andi M.Alpharetta, GA62017Jan 17, 2011
This is my husband's favorite Starbucks location and after going with him a few times, I have seen why. It isn't so much that other Starbucks are inferior or that I won't visit any other location, but if there is a choice, I will make the 10+ mile drive from my home to order from this Starbucks, when surely there is another one closer.
This is just one of the reasons why: They have a tea drinker on staff! I'm an equal opportunity girl. Some days I would love a latte, but others I really crave a good black tea instead. So, after my husband ordered his soy latte, I asked for an Earl Grey latte for myself. The guy behind the counter told me he thought they might be out of Earl Grey, but was scrambled all over the store to find a tea bag; I really have to applaud the effort he went through to try to give me what I wanted.
I told him not to worry, and asked if there was another black tea I could try. He suggested their Awake tea, and another barista behind the counter told me she drinks all of their teas, but the Awake was her favorite. Based on her recommendation, I decided to give it a try and asked for it to be made with soy. They upgraded me to a Venti for my troubles.
Have you ever heard the term "serendipity?" Because that's what this was: a fortunate discovery made entirely by accident. An "accident" I have since repeated three more times...
This Starbucks will do whatever they can to make it right. I know they should all technically do the same, but after this experience I've decided to make this my favorite Starbucks too.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - 525589332Nov 27, 2012
This Starbuck's is located across from the Mall of Georgia. It is a typical Starbucks, but I love the customer service. I knew what I wanted, but the ladies suggested a drink for my sister, and she loved it.

There are not one, not two, but three Starbucks coffee shops within a one-mile radius in the Mall of Georgia area. As others have mentioned, there is Starbucks inside the mall (by the food court) and another a few blocks away from this particular location. However, I like this location the most out of the three in the area.
It's a pretty tiny store, but they have two comfy chairs near the entrance, several four-person tables, and quite a few two-person tables. I've never had a problem finding a table to sit at while enjoying my drink.
Most recently, my sister (Yoomee H.) and I visited this Starbucks on a Sunday afternoon after indulging in a lunch that gave each of us a serious case of food coma. It was a fairly quiet afternoon with just two other customers inside enjoying the free Wi-Fi on their laptops and two others sitting outside.
The two baristas were cheery and friendly, which was nice. They also made our drinks very quickly. My sister got a tall Mocha Frappuccino ($3.75) and treated me to one of my usual Starbucks favorites - a tall Iced Caramel Macchiato ($3.55). It was good, but I noticed it wasn't as sweet as usual. They probably put less caramel in it, which is fine because that's better for my health anyway. =)
Overall, this Starbucks location gets 4 stars for their quick, friendly service and cleanliness. Like most (if not all) other Starbucks, I love that they offer free Wi-Fi! I will continue to come to this particular location over the other one nearby when I am in the mood for my tasty caffeine fix.

Went to the drive through ordered a grande vanilla frappuccino, the wait was almost 10 minutes. Fiancé was getting annoyed because of the wait. Got to the window and he said the drink was on the house because the wait shouldn't have been that long! WOO!

Did you notice that there is another starbucks in WALKING DISTANCE! (actually they are opening it and of course there is one in the mall - see the review that references this one... eh? Yeah, I don't get it either)
You know there is a problem when there are more starbucks per square mile than Waffle Houses!
Seriously, this location is cramped and often has something out of order and did I mention it's inconvenient.
Other than that, it's your usual overpriced, trendy coffee that everyone loves and loves to hate on.
So if you're in Buford sometime soon, e-mail me and we'll sit down and sip our coffee while making fun of all the losers doing the same thing... what?!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Eric C.Richmond, VA366429Jul 28, 2012
It's the same as any other Starbucks...but I had a good time here. I came here with a friend because the Mall of GA Starbucks was packed. She suggested to come here.
All in all...I guess I would come back if I was in the area.

I was anxious for a caffeine fix and the line was out the door. I waited and tried to be patient, but the line didn't move. At. All.
So I left.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
