You have to pay $5 bucks just to get into the Sea Pines area but after that you get the privilege of eating here.

At first glance it's just your standard old moldy, nautical themed seafood restaurant.  

They won me over with the hush puppies, so much so that the stuffed flounder (which was delicious) became a bonus.  I'd probably go back just for the hush puppies, but now that I know I can order something that isn't fried (yes, I realize the irony here), I'm definitely going back on my next trip to HHI.

Tried this place after reading some of the reviews.  Someone recommended the crem brulee french toast on my facebook page so I tried it out.

Let's cover my complaints, first.

* Felt like an outsider, check.
* Felt unappreciated after reading about their no-sharing (there's a fee to share the food?) policy, check!!!
* Decor is not nearly as nice as IHOP down the road, check
* Prices more in line with a seafood place, check.

Then it happened...  

They brought out the banana fosters french toast coronary disaster dessert breakfast monster.

If you like sweets, it's worth the $10 bucks to eat this thing.  It'd be my last meal if I had to pick one.  It's that good.  Bananas, Almonds, some sort of deadly creme, french toast, powdered sugar, butter.   Yes, that's an entire week's worth of calories.

Overall the experience did not meet expectations. The portions are very good sized, but the prices are high too.  Definitely feels like THEY KNOW they are in Hilton Head.

If I ever go back, it's only for the french toast.  I can spend $3 for an egg elsewhere.

I've known Beau for several years and he constantly reminds me of how much he puts my best interests first. He helps me focus on the big picture of my life's plan including things such as family planning and not sure percentages and rates of return.

The food is on par with Bonefish Grill but the atmosphere is like Joe's Crab Shack.

That about sums it up very nicely.  There really isn't a bad item on the menu, the decor could do better.  Definitely has a sort of local lake lanier feel that is very endearing after a day at the lake but not so much.  I'm actually a bit angry since it doesn't feel like a date place but does have a "date" price.

Fuego describes what happens to the dollar bills in my wallet at this place.

If you're up for paying more for regular mexican food and getting a "mall" experience and some colored chips, then Fuego is up your alley.  

The food is a little bit more like the generic strip mall mexican, with the previously mentioned colored chips.  The service is subpar but I think that has more to do with the newness of the restaurant and the crazy business from Cinco de mayo then anything that was the servers fault.  I won't bore you with a, "when I was a server, story."  

Fuego has stylish furniture and light fixtures and really tries to appeal to the sensibilities of twenty somethings, which is perfect for what it is.

I don't mind paying a little more for atmosphere or even faux niceness, but the real problem was the "nickel & dime" aspect of the place.

Mariachi Band (good), all their instruments say, "Tips" (bad).  At least they could do is put "propina" on it to make me feel like it was really mexican.

Will we go back, probably... we like the Mall, but there's a dozen other places that are better, cheaper and better.

it's almost good enough for the 30 minute ride from my home to go here.  It's a combination of things that are going on.

For me, I really don't like coffee at all.  In fact, if there's not a shock inducing amount of sugar in the coffee then I can barely stomach it.  Paying $5 for 15 minutes (I drink fast) for a 30 minute caffeine/sugar high has always caused me to be a "hater" of the coffee scene as well.

Inman Perk definitely changes that.  For one, the coffee (I order Chai Tea now) is cheaper.  I can pay for my friends and we can get large drinks and still come in at $5.  

The atmosphere is very "artsy" but in a real sort of way (as opposed to a fake sort of way that happens at Starbucks).  This location has lots of seating and low ceilings.

No offense to the staff reading this because it's not a negative, but the staff is ultra friendly which is great but also surprising since they all appear to be fresh out of grunge rock band.  In fact, the place looks like it could host a small "unplugged" gathering with no effort at all.

The location is perfect for what it is, but would love to see this every square mile than the green monster.

The place is generally clean enough to sit, but dirty enough to wipe your table.  The 5 second rule might need to be reduced.  The place is dark but does have TV's and is generally pretty busy during lunch hour.  It's quiet enough to have a light-business meeting lunch, but not clean enough for that to fill totally appropriate either.

Otherwise, it's Zaxby's so you know what you are getting food wise.

Always friendly  the staff here aims to please.  The wait is usually non existent or possibly one person and instead of having coupons they just have great service and low prices.

If you're in the area it's the best place I know to get a haircut.

They would receive 5 stars but they tend to use dirty garment capes that can get other people's hair on you.

I want to give 4 stars just for the cool name.  The noodles were good in our opinion but that's all we ordered.  It was OUR place until the fleas really got to us.

The set up in there isn't real good for kids either.   It'd be OK if there wasn't other options.

If you're up here in the burbs, you know that the Pho resturaunts come and go.  You can go to the overhyped Saigon Cafe or go to Buford Hwy to get some good noodle.

I won't talk about the best places here, since we're supposed to be reviewing this one, but let's just say, one funny named place has the best noodles but they have fleas too.

Miss Saigon is just about everything we wanted in a pho place.  They have a friendly staff and very flavorful noodles.

I agree with the previous reviewer, the 4$ spring rolls are ridiculous.  My wife commented about how they are $2.50 in some other places.  In any case, they do at least visit your table more than once and treat you like you are actual customer, which is more than I can say for ... well every other pho place.

I didn't try their coffee or other items, we couldn't afford it after an order of spring rolls and some noodles.
