We popped in here after trying some of the other local bars (too smoky). Linda was super friendly and helped us with some recommendations. We enjoyed the sampler flight of Alaskan beers she made for us. Service was great and location was convenient.

The bar that has stood the longest in Ketchikan. Lots of history in this town and is a good location for sports as they have good TV's for this.
A popular locals bar plenty of brews on tap. This was the last stop of the pub crawl. Super fun.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0 - Sep 8, 2023
Our server at the Ketchikan distillery pointed us to this place. We wanted to look at their selection of local product in the liquor store area- and we were not disappointed. They have a nice selection of local Alaska distilled alcohol. I had never wanted to stand in the giant line in Juneau for the Amalga distillery in Juneau- but they had the gin at the Sourdough. So I am now the proud owner of a bottle of Amalga gin- thank you Sourdough! I found the gentleman who helped is pick out our bottle extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

Looking for a piece of local history? Check out the 90 year old Sourdough Bar. Lots to look at on the walls, from boat wrecks to record setting fish mounts. The best part of the visit was our bartender Connor. He was even keeled and entertaining. That says a lot considering we had a party of 12 drunk cruise ship tourists. Do yourself a favor and visit the Sourdough.

BEST dive bar ever! I didn't fee like a tourist and locals were even buying us drinks! if someone rings the bell, they buy everyone drinks! crazy! lots of locals that seemed like were mostly fishermen coming in for their after a long day out on the water, drink.
Prices were cheap and we loved the games that they had to keep us occupied. I loved all the pictures around the wall and read where they were taken and the year. I wish I had this place back in Atlanta. We were in Ketchikan for 15 days and we came here four times! The bartender is super friendly and remembered us by name, crazy!
Yes, the reviews are good, that's because this place is great! It's not your typical cruise stop bar, go in and enjoy!!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Lori W.San Francisco, CA1771220Sep 18, 2023
Stopped into this business on the liquor store side to buy cigarettes, joked about the price of a pack, over $15! The cashier became angry and told us we could buy them elsewhere so we did! Never expected to be treated that way :(

Total dive bar! We absolutely loved it...so much I bought a tshirt. They have some nice canned cocktails from Port Chilkoot Distillery and the bartender Linda was a true local and proud of it. If you're looking for a dive, this is the place!!
