SeaBreeze Winery

I'm proud to have a great local winery like the Seabreeze Winery representing Panama City and showcasing Northwest Florida's ability to produce a solid muscadine wine.

Muscadine wines are the major attraction here, and there are some good examples available. My favorite wines here are the Sweet Island Red, which is a very mild, warm wine (sorry, I'm not a sommelier or anything close) and the Blueberry Wine, which has a great, sweet berry flavor.

The prices for the wines are all very reasonable (around $10 a bottle during my last visit) and the friendly staff is more than happy to provide tastings.

Beyond wines, the rest of the salesfloor at the Seabreeze Winery is dedicated to various gift and decor items. They also sell some nice NCAA gift items for the college football fanatic in your life. This section of the store didn't hold much interest for me, as the prices were rather high for the boutique merchandise. Even so, the Seabreeze Winery is great choice all around when selecting a gift for an adult or treating yourself to a bottle of inexpensive wine with the added bonus of supporting a locally produced product.

We stopped here during a day trip to Panama City Beach from Cape San Blas, FL. We walked in around 11 a.m. (we forgot about the hour time difference between the two places). The staff was friendly and got us a set up a complimentary tasting. The Blackberry wine was delicious. Other favorites included: Blueberry, the wine slush, Island Red, and their honey Sherry. After our tasting, we received an informative tour of the back where they make the wine. It was very interesting. Their grapes are a bit different, Muscadine, when compared to the Norton in Virginia and the Concord in New England.

The prices are very good on their bottles - especially when compared to the wines in Virginia I was used to buying. I actually wish we would have stocked up on more than the three bottles we grabbed, seeing they don't have shipping anymore.

The reason for four instead of five? It would've have been nice to have a little courtyard area to sit in and drink some wine. But then again, after 12 p.m., it probably is too unbearably warm to sit out there.

Great experience, and something off the beaten path of PCB.

Recommended activity different from the beach or other tourist traps.

Free wine tasting, the staff though, needs to grow a sense of humor.

Bottles are mostly $10 each so you don't have to worry about a huge mark-up due to the area.

My favorite is the Blueberry wine.

The staff is extremely kind and friendly, willing to take time to explore my preferences and educate me on the winery.

What else is there to do on a cloudy day in PCB? Go wine tasting! Nice staff. Free wine tasting. Tasty wine!

They have really tasty wine, my favorite is the blueberry. The staff show true southern hospitality, I my wine shipped back to California for a small fee. They have a bunch of cute accessories and even college football collectables. You have to go!

Fabulous experience. Chose several wines and they talked us through all of them. And then they brought out the wine slushies! Highly recommend that you stop by if you have the chance.

great wine...Im not a wine kind of person but we decided to do the tasting and ..yes.. i liked it. I ended up buying a bottle to possibly bring back home , sorry folks but it never made it to my house. As soon as I got back to our room the bottle was opened and fished. The personnel were helpful, friendly and very knowledgable of the their product. If I make it back to Panama City Beach I will sure stop by to buy more wine.

Great wines! A fun hour to spend when you are in PCB...very reasonably priced and they ship, too.

This place was great. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a super friendly and polite staff. We prefer sweeter wine and after tasting just a few of the wines, we ended up buying an entire case (which we got 25% off of - that was the deal that day) We filled the case with the Island Red, Island White, Blueberry and Blackberry wines. All amazing. I will definitely be ordering more once we run out - they offer shipping! The prices were VERY reasonable.
