Modi's Tax

This was second time I had set an appointment with Mr. Modi. The appointment was made same day with a quick phone call.

I needed a quick consultation on a large transaction and it's LT cap-gain tax implications. Mr. Modi provided a detailed guidance as what options are available to save taxes. He is a thorough professional with deep insights into several tax strategies. I would highly recommend him for any tax related consulting services.

Called to get a quote. Got clear advice on how to move forward. Did not use his services as we did not actually need to file an amendment (thank you for helping us clarify this bit). Will consider Modi's next year.

Mr Modi is a lifesaver especially when there are new situations or transitions that occur in your tax profile. My husband has been using his services from the time he was in his old office, how mr Modi has grown successful from then to now is testament to his skill, dependability and quality of service. He has been filing both our taxes when we were dating,and now as a married couple and has a thorough checklist of all assets and taxable instruments and always ensures he walks us through the filing for that financial year. He is prompt at filing extensions as neededWhether it's questions related to stocks, property taxes on rental gains in india he will provide a clear answer without misguiding you! We will keep coming back to him as we have for the past 8 years and highly recommend him.

He used to be good at one point of time. This year he has changed tax procedure, and prefers to extend tax deadline.
He is hard to get hold of , after you have given your documents.

Very very unprofessional and careless. After talking to him on the phone three times we had appointment date and he didn't show up at his own office for the appointment.I don't think I have seen such unprofessional person. If you will try to depend on him you surely will miss
your tax filing deadline. Avoid him at all cost.

Would give zero stars if possible. Didn't event make it to the office based on the horrible attitude I got from two employees. I was looking to make an appointment when they complained that I was using their time without paying them. Horrible customer service. I would stay away from this place.

Mr. Modi has been doing taxes for my family for the last 3 years. He is very knowledgeable and thorough. He makes sure that as a client I understand all the details regarding my taxes. One thing I really like about him is his willingness to answer any tax related questions through out the year via email or in person. He has helped me navigate thru some of the complexities involved with holding foreign bank and brokerage accounts and his advice for the long-term has been invaluable. Although he doesn't provide investment advice, he does provide recommendations on how to minimize/avoid taxes which is great! His price is fair for the value he adds.

Only advice I have for new clients is that you should approach him earlier in the tax season. Given how much he has grown over the last few years, he can get really busy after March.

Overall, really happy with the service and the guidance he provides.

We have been going to Modi's Tax for several years now and the service provided has always been highly professional. They have gone to lengths to ensure you get back every penny that you deserve. Right from sending reminders, to asking all the right questions and even advising you on critical monetary decisions that you take, they have always been there to help.

The kind of personalized service they give is so different from something like HR Block or what we find online or at Walmart Taxes. We always think these can be done on your own, but as years go buy and you accumulate more paper so do the complications that we do not event comprehend for.

Ok for moderate income tax service but not higher income earners. Ended up costing me in $1500 in underpayment fees from the IRS, not to mention fees for my new accountant to clean up modi's mess.

I have been using Modi's Tax for a couple of years and I would very highly recommend him. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything in a detailed manner.

More importantly, in my experience, I think he is very thorough in ensuring taxes are filled accurately and all areas that required to be be considered are included. This gives me very high confidence and peace of mind, that my taxes are being filled accurately and as expected.
