McDonald's

After filling up at the next door gas station, I decided that I needed a coffee. McDonald's was convenient and their coffee is quite good.

After a few ice cubes, it was a temperature that wasn't going to burn a hole straight through me. Tasty, not burned and less than $2. What's wrong with that?

The store is practicing their COVID protocols with masks required and the kiosks are closed. They have half the tables marked off.

After several years, I decided to finally review this place. I use to go here once a week, but lately, I've been visiting maybe once every couple of months since my new job last year. To be honest, this place has really let itself go since the hurricane. Cleanliness is a big thing for me and during my recent visit, the tables and chairs was sticky and there was hardened ketchup stains in various places.

The customer service is nice and so is the food, but again, cleanliness is a big thing for me when I go food hopping. Had this been a couple of years ago, I would have given them a 5 star rating.

It's a McDonald's; you get what you'd expect. The service varies by the time of day and the sweet tea taste like pure syrup.

It's just ok. Usually a long wait. Good location. Always clean dining room. Staff is pretty good. Decent prices. Sausage burrito is the best item on the menu. Everyone in town knows it's nothing special just convenient.

They switch to the lunch menu promptly at 10am on Saturdays. This might be a good thing for some, but when you are craving some uber-greasy hashbrowns to eat while watching the Peanut Queens parade by, it's crushing.

Other than their early menu change times, this is a recently remodeled McDonalds, and probably the only place to get a latte within 30 miles.
