Scan Design - Miami

I previously purchased items at Scan Design Stored but will no longer promote to friends and colleagues after most recent purchase and delivery experience. Despite my 2-quests for confirmation regarding old furniture removal, I was assured by the Miami Sales Rep that the delivery staff would take care of/remove them. Unfortunately, this was not the case! Had the correct information been relayed, I would have made an advanced arrangement for removal. Recommendation: Consider placement of a disclaimer (on the receipt) of no furniture removal with delivery at the time of purchase and re-enforce verbally at the time of delivery scheduling so customers are not left with unnecessary last-minute arrangement(s). Very disappointed with the communication conveyance.

I went to the store today to buy a new couch. I got in the store walked around the whole store, passed by the sales personnel twice, and 2 sales people also walked by my and no one even acknowledged I was at the store. I ended up buying by new sofa online and had some questions regarding it but, going to the store to buy in person was no help.

We bought an $8000 sofa here. I sat down & had damp hair. The dampness permanently stained the leather sofa. I went to the store & was told that there is no way to clean it....maybe try nutrogena soap & water....it didn't work. Any slight moisture permanently stains the sofa with no way to clean it. And they wont accept a return. I've never heard of such a horrendously stupid design. Now we covered the Scan Design Stained Sofa with old blankets- it's a great advertisement for this store! To top it off, after using their horrendously expensive bed for two nights (that they assembled) it collapsed. I'm lucky nobody was killed.

My old IKEA furniture is vastly superior to this high priced junk. Beware!

This store is suprisingly huge and chock full of chic and contemporary furniture but be prepared to drop a ton of moula.

I bought a bed from them. they never deliver it. i tried to cancel it and the asked me %20 restocking fee.

I really love Scan Design. I think it occupies a great place for people like me who like modern and tasteful furniture of good quality. I'd say that the quality of Scan Design is a couple of steps up from that of a West Elm. Lots of the furniture is semi-assembled, however unlike West Elm or IKEA, when Scan Design delivers the furniture their people assemble it (usually it's installing the legs or base of the product), still awesome you don't have to do it.

While Scan Design isn't cheap, it's not prohibitively expensive either and again the furniture is really beautifully done and of very good quality. We've bought a hutch, a couple of beds, a dresser, two night stands and a media console from Scan Design and will continue to furnish our home with their products. I highly recommend. Customer service is awesome too, especially David Haskins (or Haskell) who's helped us with all our purchases there.

A furniture store with some very nice high quality modern furniture. We have made several purchases here. David is a great sales rep to work with.
